Lot of trading around. I went off of our new GM's press conference that he wants to build QB, Oline, and Dline first.

I went OL with Slater, Humphrey, and Cleveland (all could start) to add to Moton. I also went DL by adding Barmore next to Brown, forming a potentially great pairing. YGM, Barmore, Brown, Burns

The awful looking trade at the bottom, that was actually me using those (2) 3rd round picks to land Matthew Stafford. I had to just grab a pick because players aren't available.

In the secondary I added Campbell, Holland, and Hufanga. This would be an unreal situation, all 3 could start. Holland is listed as a CB, but he is a safety that boots Boston out. Holland also is a punt/kick returner.

Pff machine is a joke. Let's say I have seen Trevor Lawrence slip the eagles the 1sr time I used it. As I thought that was impossible I missed what I thought was a once in a lifetime slip by the bot.

Nope started to happen again, so jumped in this time:

And lol cause no way the falcons take that, but again the bot is gonna bot.

Yep, and why I REFUSE to use that simulator.  I've been torn whether or not to subscribe to PFF for the scouting reports on the draft eligible players, especially since the Combine has been cancelled this year.  However, if their scouting is as shoddy as their big board and simulator is, then it isn't worth the money.

PFF simulator isn’t bad at all. If you move the sliders to be less random it won’t make questionable picks but honestly at this point without a proper big board any mock draft is a crapshoot.

Actually, it is the Draft Networks 'Draft Machine' that I like the least.  I misread the post and only caught the machine part.  I agree, PFFs isn't all that bad.  Still prefer Fan Speak's, BUT only paired with certain big boards.  Fan Speak's Steve and Draft Teks BBs are historically the most accurate from my perspective.

Not overly realistic because of the trades but I'd love this one.

Round 1 Pick 12 (S.F.): Zach Wilson, QB, BYU (A)
Round 2 Pick 7: Walker Little, OT, Stanford (A-)
Round 2 Pick 16 (L.V.): Nick Bolton, ILB/OLB, Missouri (A)
Round 3 Pick 12 (NYG): Eric Stokes, CB, Georgia (A+)
Round 3 Pick 16 (L.V.): Jordan Davis, DT, Georgia (A+)
Round 4 Pick 8: Alijah VeraTucker, OG, USC (A+)
Round 4 Pick 11 (NYG): Brady Breeze, FS/SS, Oregon (A+)
Round 5 Pick 7: Landon Dickerson, C, Alabama (A+)
Round 5 Pick 39 (COMP): Ben Petrula, OT, Boston College (A+)
Round 6 Pick 9: Noah Gray, TE, Duke (A+)
Round 7 Pick 8: Jaelan Phillips, DE/OLB, Miami (A+

You should have hit reset the moment you traded down and Wilson was still there at #12.  Wilson will not make it out of the top 6, let alone another six picks later.  If SF moves up, it's for a QB, BTW.  The Jimmy Garoppolo experiment has run it's course.

After the hypothetical of packaging our 2nd with some future picks for Stafford,I got bored and wanted to look at what that could mean if we lost that second but traded back with 8 to cash in on the talent in those middle rounds.
I Stuck with my feeling that we need an OT and 3 interior linemen in this draft. I Drafted LB and C out of perceived need. I added a late QB for development behind Stafford.

30. Jay Tufele, DT USC

Lost 39 to the Lions

51. Liam Eichenberg, OT Notre Dame
62. Josh Myers, C/G, OSU
73. Chazz Surratt, LB, UNC
82. Ambry Thomas, CB, Mich
93. Ben Cleveland, G, UGA
106. Kellen Mond, QB, A&M
171. David Moore, G, Grambling

I don’t get to watch as much college ball as a I used to. I like these simulators to get to know some prospects and as a way to get a feel for ranges for particular players and positions.

    • I see both sides of the arguments, but compared to last year we're somehow at an upgrade over completely fried Dalton and wasn't even good in college Plummer. At least Pickett and Grier probably have some desire to make more money when Dalton was happy to just go through the motions and I will never understand why they even bothered with Plummer.
    • After watching Dan for 3 yrs now, I think I understand his plan. It’s a simple plan that should work for the long run.     I saw some of this last yr. Dan wants a vet and a young player at each position. I really think we go OT if one they like there. Moton is aging, Icky will not be back until 27, if ever. We need to get ahead of the tackle problem
    • You are just stressing too much about these particular positions. You want to upgrade from Bryce and I understand that but you aren’t going to really get that without getting into a bidding war for a QB2 potential QB1 like Willis. You could possibly trade for Mills or the backup for Chicago but they are still gambles and their teams will won’t decent picks.  Again the Eagles thought KP was a capable enough backup to trade for him once their backup was hurt and won a Super Bowl with him as QB2. The point is most teams aren’t rolling with some stud QB2/3 that is going to push even a bottom tier starter. They are better off the building their roster in other areas. The Rams are rolling with Bennett right now as QB2 for example.  The goal is winning absolutely. We overachieved last year even with stumbling into the playoffs. Another year and this staff needs to take the next step in building a team. Will Grier has little to no impact on that….
