I'll take the W. Another ugly one but 2 points is 2 points. Still have no idea what the league/refs were thinking on wiping out 40 seconds of our PP. They got the call wrong initially, that sucked for the BJs but league needed to just live with their mistake, not make it worse and compound it by making some random call to wipe out a PP which can't be written into the rules as something that's allowed. I don't even care about the 40 seconds of PP time, more just flabbergasted by that decision. Hope for a better game from the boys tonight.

The real question here is what was the league thinking allowing the goal. It was clearly offsides.

I have no issue pulling the remaining time on the PP. Columbus got screwed once, screwing them twice would have been a bit much.

They claimed they didn’t have all the angles on the first review during intermission they got another angle that led to them changing their mind.

    • My take on Darnold was always that he was fine with a good offensive line but would wilt under pressure with a poor line (Jets and Panthers). Seattle began the year w/ a pretty bad oline and they improved somewhat but Darnold is showing he is a pretty good qb. Imagine what the Panthers would be today with Darnold and without Bryce Young and all the wasted draft picks to get him.
    • Similar situation but that would be a better version than what we currently have. Sam isn't a franchise QB but he is a good bridge guy. Either Seatle finds a young guy to groom or they have hit their ceiling. They 100% can't put it on Sam's shoulders and expect to win but the team needs to carry less with him at QB to win vs what this team has to do with Bryce.
    • to me the post would suggest Sam Darnold was good last night because Seattle won in a wild game.   Which is what we do with Bryce Young.   Sam Darnold didn't play well last night.  Which is how he trends, goes to a new team.....looks okay and becomes classic Sam Darnold down the stretch.  Last 6 or 7 weeks old bad Sam is coming out a lot (and then a weird Atlanta game mixed in lol).
