Whats up with all these new posters with new threads that are hard to read?

Also, if you cut Ian and Grier you only save 700k combined....  you would spend more replacing them than you would just keeping them for depth....

Math-wise, yeah, that is true. But they fill up two roster spots for no real value. Grier hasn't actually had to wear cleats on game day for some time and Thomas played like he still had his slippers on as well.

It may cost more money to replace them, but two guys who are willing and able to be on special teams could use their spots. Let 'em roll and find new homes, bring in some UDFA for their spots.

I don't know where your getting your facts because if the team releases Ian Thomas it would save the team $2,183,000 cap space! Ian has had a chance to prove himself and he's failed many times!

And if they release Will Grier post-June 1st would save the team $850,000 cap savings!

Ian Thomas – Carolina Panthers TE

  • Cap saving – $2.18 million

The Ian Thomas experiment appears to be over. There was a huge opportunity awaiting the tight end in 2020 after the Carolina Panthers decided not to bring back prolific veteran Greg Olsen. But the simple fact of the matter is he didn’t get the opportunities or show enough to be considered a viable long-term option. By catcave.com

    • Gold is a tool... lmao Team O+G Forreals tho, if you haven't been watching Ovies and Giglio's OG After Dark breakdowns so far this playoffs, you've been missing out!
    • He is by no means perfect, to me it looks like he is very poor att what he is poor at and very good at what is is good at. I take that over everything good but nothing above good.  Fit is a question, Young is not at toss it up gunslinger. It is easy to imagine a 1000+ season with a guy like (prime) Wilson or Jake.
    • Bring in the King! Some of yall aren't gonna want to hear this, but this is 4 bad games in a row for Freddie. Even worse, going back to game 1 vs the Isles, he has gotten progressively worse each and every game. It's almost like taking a guy who hadn't played 2 games in a row in over a full calender year and making him play 7 straight might not have been the best decision... I'm not saying throw Freddie in the trash. Give the rook game 2 in NY. If he looks good and we steal one in their house, let Pyotr have game 3 back home while the Great Dane freshens up and gets his mind right for games 4 and 5 when this really becomes a series. In your hearts you know it's true, G Our game is flat like 2D The skaters know it too, see It's time for some Kucci!
