Even Jake Delhomme went on to play for Cleveland with the damn TommyJoan.

I'm saying Cam is your best free agent. I'd give him a shot over Teddy THATS ALL.

And he can retire here 🙂

Jake was done though.  Tommy Jone won.

He threw 2 TDs and 7 INTs and was almost decapitated in Cleveland.

Here are the game logs for cam.  Look at the games immediately after he threw the ball 20 times or more and tell me his arm isnt shot.  Dude had less than 10 completions 4 times.  Godalmighty

Square peg into a round hole, exactly what we've said here about Cam and we knew you couldn't do that with him AND he doesn't have a DJ, Curtis, or CMC to throw to, just slappies.

The Jersey sales?

C'mon man!

It'll be like the Jordan #45.

Don't give him #1.

Cam can come back and retire.  Hell, give him a FO job.  Basically, a part time marketing gig.  I'm down for basically anything Cam.....except playing QB here.  It's over.   There is no Julius Peppers moment for him.

I'd take free agent Cam and keep all my assets instead of giving everything to Houston.

What do you think about Newton #7s ?

Nice.

As ownership, your terms are forefront. New chance to re-evaluate.

Rhule,free agent Cam,Brady?!

That really sounds good.

Fit is not a question. Again, last season @QB.

Not again. Deshaun was cool. I wanna go back home. She might still be there.

Watson is a no brainer IMO if you can get him.

Cam offers you nothing.  Short term or the future in regards to actual football.   As a starter.

Don't you think if the team had ANY interest in keeping Cam as a Panther, he would still.....you know, be a Panther?  They had plenty of opportunities to keep him here, and booted him out the door as soon as they could.

We're getting rid of Teddy mostly due to his "physical limitations", and you want to bring in a QB whos even more limited than Teddy?

2015 Cam is never walking thru that door.  His arm is damaged goods.  We are looking for a QB with the arm to push the ball down the field.  It is a MUST in Joe Brady's offense.  And that ain't 2021 Cam Newton.

I was on the Deshaun Watson bandwagon and came back to reality just this morning.

Cam and the Panthers need each other. It's time to heal this.

Together.

Now.

it's okay.  Just crawl back into bed.  Whatever side you got out on just roll out the other side.

    • Yes, he's a tier above them, but you also touched on the money side of it.  With T-Mac locked in as our #1 on a rookie contract for a few more years, I'd much rather use that money that would be needed for DJ on our defense and develop Coker into our #2.   Especially given his contract situation as an UDFA, as his contract is up at the end of this year but we can keep him around for a 3rd team controlled year on the real cheap.  Which means we probably could get him to sign a very reasonable extension this offseason to give him a little more money while giving us a bargain contract for what he provides. DJ's contract is north of $20 million for the next 5 years, why pay that for your #2 WR with the needs we have on defense and you have guys like Coker, XL, and Horn on rookie contracts who very well could combine to be a serviceable 2-4 WRs behind a stud in T-mac? I love DJ and he'd be a great fit on this team as our #2, but the money side of it just makes absolutely zero sense, that's all it comes down to for me on this one. And no, I don't see the Bears wanting XL back in that trade, because they drafted Burden, who is essentially a better version of what XL provides, a player you want to get the ball into their hands and let them go to work.
    • I didnt see that many bad calls in the panthers cowboys game, but the chiefs especially in the playoffs were getting every single call they could get then the refs when it didnt matter would throw a call towards the other teams.  That I believe was the taylor swift effect.   But its crazy just thinking about how easy it is to change a game.  You dont need but a single ref to make a few close calls go towards one team over the other and in the nfl that is the game.
    • I don't think it's unrealistically blaming Bryce Young......to say has been a reason, sometimes a big one, in why our pass offense overall has been extremely week over the past 3 collective seasons.  I think that bothering anyone, is just being overly invested in some Bryce Young argument.  It's just a reality.
