Personally I hoped he wouldn't be traded but I certainly didn't guarantee it would never happen.

He took the paycut to just the guaranteed money for this trade to work. If he stayed a Panther he would make even more. Sounds like he knew he would get cut if this trade didn’t work and lose the money anyway, but that’s just me speculating...

Yeah now he has a chance to push Lock and get some playing time, possibly get a nice contract next year. He doesn’t strike me as a stat at home and not play kind of guy. Most of these guys are competitive and love playing the game, it’s how they hit here.

 I loved Teddy to a point Could hit the short and intermediate seam routes with the best of them. Downfield was where he fell apart. I hope he does well in Denver.

I'm in the group that thinks Tepper is not telling them who to select but telling them to find the future franchise QB, whoever Fits thinks that guy could be.  I'm sure QB is at the top of the list of priorities. 

Remember, Fit said that he believed you draft a qb every draft.  They will take a QB at some point in this draft and every draft going forward until they get the franchise and his heir on the roster.
