@Verge

i know you mentioned Chicago potentially being aggressive to trade up for Fields if he starts to drop.

another team I’ve been keeping an eye on leaks.  Big Ben contemplated retirement this offseason.  And Mason Rudolph is in the last year of his deal.  You think the Steelers could eye a move for Fields if he starts to fall?

All I know in regards to the Steelers is that they are locked in on Najee.

I know they Like Najee.  But this may be them not expecting a QB to make a big slide.  If one does.  I mean, they legit have no QB past this season unless they are banking on Haskins

I could speculate but I haven't been told anything else about them. So your guess is as good as mine on that one.

Draft intrigue... Rodgers...Te-bow... Good Lord, this day is insane.

I'm mentally exhausted already and the Draft doesn't even start for three and a half hours.

I'm just upset if the Saints trade up to 7 and don't take Fields that will mess up my mock draft 😞

I'm going to take a break before the draft because I can't keep up.  The script keeps changing every minute.  It's impossible to figure out anything now.

    • I watched a clip of all the offensive snaps. Young threw into some tight coverage and the guys made some plays on the ball. He also really missed some throws.  He has this middle of the field thing into a tight window pretty good and made three or four nice plays but he was just too inconsistent with his accuracy especially in the red zone. Today and in general.    That Int where people were chastising Legette for ‘not fighting through the coverage’, he in no way could have gotten to that ball. IMO. I think he thought it was going to hit the ground and didn’t see the defender coming for it. But not sure what he could have done. The camera doesn’t show the spatial relationship very well, I think the ball was way off. maybe 6 feet or more off target to the inside of the field.  Rico is a beast. And a very good receiver.   That was my impression without dissecting and rewinding, just letting the video roll. I did rewind the int two or three times to look at that one.
    • My biggest issue with keeping Darnold, which I felt we should have done, is we would still have Fitterer. And everything that came with that.  I think Morgan is going to be good.  Baker, just did not play well at all here. Not sure what else we were supposed to take away from it at the time.  That’s my short ‘I don’t want to argue about it’ take.
    • Even if we somehow make the playoffs we will be one and done so fast. Seattle, Rams, TB, Panthers, Detroit and Philly are all better than us.
