I agree atleast on paper... we haven't just seen him run away from people like you have with elite speed like Samuel..Anderson because of his length looks more like a strider to me. He's fast don't get Me wrong it's good.

But he isn't that Ted Ginn..Samuel.. tyreek hill division of top 5% NFL speed.

Guys like Samuel have that quick change of direction speed.  Robby more that straight line speed.  DJ IMO is the perfect mix.

I don’t care Marshall got caught from behind.  He isn’t suppose to be that type dude.

was a more surprised with Chubba

I think that's a different aspect... thats like acceleration plus speed. What I'm talking about is is my top gear is faster than 90% of the NFLs top gear. For me that line is around 4.3 lower end speed. I mean 4.4 is considered fast by nfl measures..  when you get below that then we are talking gaming breaking speed. Anderson 4.36 is very good..

But he seems like he builds up to that speed. Like a strider.... he isn't twitchy or I catch it and I'm gone..  he has to build up to it.

Gotcha.  Yeah, 4.4 isn’t runaway from the field speed anymore.   Especially the way guys train to get their 40 time.

Football speed vs timed 40 speed.  You can also have two guys with 4.4 speed and it also just looks different in a game.

To add to that for comparison sake. Terrance Marshall JR was said to have run a 4.4... and a 4.38..... you see how that looked today...

Hey if B.Zylstra caught half his passes that percent is near %75 completion rate...

Them two just couldn't connect for some reason...

And if some of the other receivers hadn't made nice plays to catch balls thrown behind them that percent would have been worse.

We can play the hypothetical game all day long it won't turn PJ Walker into an NFL backup.

But yet today he played just as good as any starter in the NFL would have, except maybe one who didn't play at all...

He had a standing start and Carrie was going flat out. Still took 30 yards to track him down.

    • Umm yeah. When did he get it done at the right time? I seem to remember a 4-6 finish and needing Atlanta to win our way into the playoffs but whatever.
    • I mean....no lies detected. See above. We have traded a fortune to draft a guy #1 overall that people have lowered standards for to the point that not playing like Jimmy Clausen and looking like a poor man's Kyle Allen occasionally is worthy of a contract extension making him one of the highest paid QB's in the league. That is cope on steroids.
    • summary: "let's talk about your draft, what did you think about Freeling" Dan:   guys with a huge upside, can come in and compete to start.  High ceiling "he does what for your offense?" Dan:   it's hard to find left tackles, guys that big and athletic.  We have Icky coming off an injury, we signed Walker, I believe your offensive line can never be too strong.  If we're going to win the game, it's gotta be up front on both sides of the ball, so we make a point of emphasis on making both sides of the front as strong as possible. "how many mocks did you see Monro falling to you." Not many times, left tackles are gonna go a lot earlier than when we took him.  We want to add the best player, in free agency or the draft"  that's our philosophy, to get the best players possible. "Hunter and Brazzell." Dan:  we followed the board.  Lee we felt very highly of him , super strong.  Brazzel so flexible and loose, can open the verticle.  Will Lee we held in high regard. "you take a look at your receiver room, Coker, my goodness, your offensive rookie of the year in Tet.  Lost Rico, but there is Jonathan Brooks. " Brooks coming off two knee injuries, he worked his way back, looking great, fully healthy, will help in pass and run game.  Icky, not sure when he's coming back but we're excited about both "plan on extending Bryce" we'll keep talking, will keep internally.  We believe in him, has such a great grasp of Canales and offense, has improved every year. "he's clearly come back from the benching, the arrow is trending up, where does he feel" Bryce knows where we stand with him, when and if a deal gets done, he knows we feel great with him, we'll get something done at the right time. "if this a prove it situation?" everyone in the building has to prove it, has to earn it. Tmac was everything we wanted, his work ethic, he's so big and talented, but he puts the work in, and is a great teammate. "your level of expectation, the building's level of expectation for 2026 "our goal is to win the division every year, we know we have to earn it.  we have to put the work in every day, proving it on the practice field, and our  guys know that." "schedule" we haven't opened at home in 2 or 3 years.  We love prime time games, hope we get some "
