yeah, luck happens.  My favorite 89 play is that one where he broke what appeared to be 57 tackles vs Houston and came out of that pile for a long and easy TD.  Lot of luck involved.  But probably still required 89 to take advantage of that scenario.  Despite all that luck, a lot of that was still 89.

Cool, so now after one play Chuba is Steve Smith who routinely broke legit tackles on a regular basis.

yeah, that wasn't the point I was making at all.

just that a super lucky play doesn't always completely void what a player did....and the outcome isn't the same for every player that would have found himself in same lucky scenario.

Chubba got lucky.  But there was plenty also shown on that play that was Chubba being different than some other RBs we have seen on our roster.

That play was doomed from the jump.  While it was a really good run in the end, a ton of luck was involved.  FIFTEEN players were falling around all around him, the 16th (Colt player gave up thinking the play was over) and he somehow managed to get through.  The Zylstra block was the other key to the play.  Again great play, but extremely lucky.

I wouldn't call it lucky, if he doesn't keep working, and maintaining his balance this is a stuffed run; aside from that Zylstra staying engaged.

This is an example of a player making something out of nothing.

Cool, but if you hadn't read my previous posts, you might want to check them out.  I took nothing away from the kid's effort.  However, apparently saying it was a great run, although lucky is not sufficiently homer-ish enough for the Huddle.

Gotcha. It was defiantly lucky.   Got no problem with that added in

    • For all but 2 plays he was treated like a 3rd string QB that game…we t and Canales has been consistently doing one thing all season…..call deep shots on 3rd/4th and short….because it’s about the only way Bryce can get a big play he feels comfortable attempting.  Man coverage with a team playing the short yardage.  And it’s still worked out bad all year.   Law averages comes into play on that playcall and now it’s a “great game”
    • I'll say Bryce Young is giving me whiplash!  Plays well, plays like poo, plays well...  Its the cycle of Bryce Young! I'm really happy with the win Sunday.  Some of y'all are just miserable people.  Do I think Bryce is HIM though?  Nope.  He's really freaking inconsistent.  That a player AND coaching issue.  I didn't get a chance to watch the game, how was Bryce's vibe early on?  What he chill and calm or a little fired up? I'm think that we are going to roll into 2026 with Young and Canales.  I hope we do pick a traitsy QB to develop & push or we sign a hungry vet who wants to beat Bryce out.  I fully expect the Bryce cycle to continue next year as well. Now could Bryce be "just" good enough to help us build a team, and then we go after a better prospect QB after we trade Bryce off (or let him walk, who knows what the future is?)?  Is Bryce our ultimate BRIDGE QB?  I don't know, sounds silly to type myself.  Happy Monday! I'm just going to enjoy the after glow from a win I ended up watching on drive charts lol.
