I agree, almost. Its just two games into the season and who has there been to challenge Horn in two games so far? We have faced some pretty poor WR groups so far. Thursday is another awful group, too.

Agreed. Can't wait to see what our defense is made up of against Dallas. Down the line the Cardinals WR's seem to be the deepest in the league with Rondale Moore balling out as hard as he is.

So far the qbs haven't tested him yet, but they will soon. I best Tampa and Buffalo will throw at him some.

Tom doesn't strike me as a guy that is only going to throw to one side of the field to avoid a rookie CB. I want somebody to test him to see how good he could really be this early.

He will get tested. He will give up some plays occasionally and will get better after each one. The kid is legit.

We don't play Tampa or the Bills until pretty late this season (I think both games against Tampa and the Bills game are both in the last 4 weeks of the season) so the Dallas game will be the earliest we get to see him covering an elite receiver with an elite QB.

Not getting tested is a good thing there's generally a reason for it even a scub like Winston would normally target a rook hard, He will have 14 games under his belt before he has to face either. We only face 5 top 15 QBs all season (that's if you count cousins) Murray,Prescott and Cousins all three can be rattled and forced into mistakes with pressure.

Look.. I love horn so far as well.. but it is way 2 early to say I was wrong or such and such would or would not have been better. He hasn't been tested at all yet. No team we have faced even has an established number 1 or 2 wr. That pick was as easy as a punt return.

Let's not jump the gun here.. tho early returns based of sample look promising.

I don't see anyone crowing him yet, we all know you wanted Fields but I honestly thought you would know that picks are in no way the measure of a good/great corner. You play who you play and he's given up one reception.

Playing who you play is a false measurement. That's like byu going undefeated fbs independent division. It isn't the same thing as going undefeated in the sec. Then when they play in the national championship they get drug 59-14. All competition isn't=competition. I don't even know how you peddled that statement as truth. As for crowning him plenty of that was going on on the first page. Plenty of oh I was wrong.

This isn't the NFC mic, it's the NFL all of the men on NFL rosters are former college stars. Just in 2021 the Jets beat the Browns and Rams (both battling for playoff spots at the time) The Giants beat the rolling Seahawks, The Eagles beat the Packers, The Jaguars beat the Colts.

This is the NFL the talent disparity is not even close to college ball lmfao.

Loved the pick, love the player. He’s not faced a QB with the skill to challenge him. He will, and I think he rises to the occasion and has a great rookie season, but I don’t think he’s going to take away half the field against upper tier QBs. They will test him.

Dak will be the first "good" QB he'll face. that match up will be telling.

Bring it! Even the great Tom Brady's arm has to be a little sore by weeks 16 and 18 at 44 years old. We're winning the division!

I know, I know, I've heard that before too, but It finally caught up to Drew, even TB has his limits.

    • BY don't throw deep so they might like the red zone jump ball option
    • I really don't see it with Penix. Sure he has a strong arm, but he was just out there chucking the ball deep to a receiving corps that was better than the Panthers last season. Odunze, Polk, McMillan and Bernard is a crazy group in college! I just don't see his play style working in the NFL.
