Please stop Fug with arguing about America's Team moniker.  Anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together know that it was NFL Film's John Facenda who started and continued to use the moniker in the 1970's.

Have you asked your forum residents to not call names and argue???  Last I checked, I came here talking football first, and then a poster or two started with the name calling and arguing because for some, its a problem when logical facts are brought forth.

 

With that said, if you don't address those who STARTED this BS with me, then it shows YOU'RE acting like a 16 year old who got his dick stepped on because you don't have the balls to take it to the source of the problem....  those 2 or 3 ignorant posters.  Let's see what you have to say to THEM!!

What does it win you to argue?  (I can answer that  . . .  NOTHING).   If someone doesn't want to talk football or just wants to hurl insults then just move on.  Takes two to tango!  Someone on these boards will usually be sensible and game talk with you.  I generally visit the weekly opponents MB just to talk about the game and get a feel for it.

 

Now you say you're not a Cowboy fan and if not then that's a good thing because as I said, you're a guest here.   I am a true Cowboy fan!  I will be respectful of the Panther board and their fans.

It's like my Grandpa taught me  . . .  don't argue with a knucklehead because will have trouble tell who the knucklehead is.  

As far as "they started it"  . . .  doesn't that sound like something a toddler would say?  I feel embarrassed for you.

I've talked to some intelligent fans here and I appreciate their football IQs.  

With that said, for you to address me and not address the source of the problem shows that you are weak and no better the trouble makers on this board.

 

To not have the balls or the courage to address the real idiots on this board is something a toddler would do.  A grown man or grown woman wouldn't have even addressed me for defending myself, they would have addressed those that started the problems.  Apparently you don't have it in you because you had the NERVE to insult me for defending myself, but said absurd NOTHING those two or three people.

I'm embarrassed for YOU because those are traits of a coward.

      Especially with no other major sports in the area other than UNCW basketball and soccer. It's a good 2 1/2 hour drive just to catch a collegiate football game. If this new arena were built I would hope it also includes an Adult League - I would join up and time allowing would be more than happy to help coach some youth teams. 😄

      That was real fear in his eyes when the rope was being taken. My younger days, I had my best friend that happened to be black come over all the time. I had the nicest bulldog on the planet, my friend Damon was scared to death of him. His grandmother and daddy taught him to fear all dawgs and seen the same fear in his face and voice.    I think alllll young kids should take swimming lessons and not fear the water. Very thankful my parents did this, I no longer get in the ocean since its 50% sewage. But I enjoyed all the lakes, pools, and oceans I swam in.

      My personal opinion is the non-guaranteed contract is the main reason for NFL success. MLB and NBA players are on cruise control after their big contracts and it shows in the product.  NFL is each year you are fighting for your job. Same for the majority of the public.... You get lazy or try to coast after the 100+ million contract, your ass will be cut within 1-2 years. Then the next one will not even touch 100 million+. Besides a few NBA players like Kobe was coming for blood with a 300 million contract or 1 doll hair deal. Brandy Beal just reached a buyout where he was getting 110 million, many other cases..... I dare say his name for the hornets guy..... MLB sooo many times as well.    If the NFL starts fully guaranteeing all contracts, Id have a new hobby to fill the hours of entertainment NFL gave me.
