He was a top 10 pick in the 2020 draft. He wasn’t close to a top 10 CB. His PFF grades last year and this year were bad. I have some faith that we can turn him around as well but he’ll have some growing pains because he hasn’t been a good established NFL corner yet.

I was talking about draft pick not grade...top 10 draft picks from the year prior doesn't get traded for a 3rd & Dan (especially at corner)...This will prove to be a steal if he can stay healthy both physically & emotionally.

Not sure what to think of this.  I suppose we can afford to lose Arnold if another one of our 5 TE's can take his production, which isn't much.  Losing a 3rd though, I feel like we won't have much of a draft this year.  I guess we're pretty much guaranteed to be trading down our first this year.

I don't know enough about the CB to say if it's worth it or not.

Dont think of it like that, this of it that we just drafted CJ henderson with a 3rd round draft pick.  Dude is a top 10 talent and has shown dominating flashes, and hes on his rookie contract with a 5th year option, so we have him for 4 years.  This is a great move, next year, this Backfield will be utterly suffocating.

This is a great trade. He may not even start... but this gives us much needed depth and great potential at the position. He has speed and size. Needs to be coached up. I dont think this necessarily means that Donte is gone. But it gives us options going into the offseason.

Dan Arnold wasnt bad, but I think we like what we have in Tommy Tremble and Ian Thomas. This lets us get Robbie the touches he needs. Shi Smith is coming off of injury and we're getting solid contributions from guys like Brandon Zylstra. It was the best piece to move.

I know that we're worried about the Draft... but if this team continues to improve, then we're a year a two away from consistent contention. We've got money to attract the help we need and draft O-line in 2022.

    • um... make it make sense. 200+ yards, no fumbles so why only a 75?!
    • They have for sure set the offense up to be successful with a QB that can run it.
    • I don't think Dan Morgan will be gone after this season, but some requested a potential 2026 GM candidate list. So here ya go. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Top/Rising General Manager Candidates: Notre Dame general manager Mike Martin Atlanta Falcons vice president of player personnel Kyle Smith Tampa Bay Buccaneers senior personnel executive Byron Kiefer Detroit Lions assistant general manager Ray Agnew Detroit Lions director of college scouting Brian Hudspeth Houston Texans assistant general manager Chris Blanco Former Indianapolis Colts chief personnel executive Morocco Brown New England Patriots senior personnel executive Alonzo Highsmith Buffalo Bills director of player personnel Terrance Gray Las Vegas Raiders vice president of player personnel Brandon Hunt Los Angeles Chargers assistant GM Chad Alexander Seattle Seahawks Vice President of Player Acquisition Matt Berry Kansas City Chiefs assistant GM Mike Bradway New York Giants assistant GM Brandon Brown Cleveland Browns assistant GM Glenn Cook Chicago Bears assistant GM Ian Cunningham Indianapolis Colts assistant GM Ed Dodds Buffalo Bills assistant GM Terrance Gray Tampa Bay Buccaneers assistant GM Mike Greenberg Philadelphia Eagles assistant GM Alec Halaby Green Bay Packers director of football operations Milt Hendrickson Houston Texans director of player personnel James Liipfert (may be the assistant GM with Texans now) Baltimore Ravens VP of football administration Nick Matteo Los Angeles Rams assistant GM John McKay Washington Commanders assistant GM Lance Newmark Please correct me where I may have incorrect titles and add any names you think may be rising. Again, I don't think Dan Morgan will be fired after this season, but some requested this following the HC thread I made. I personally like knowing the names of these up and coming GM/HC candidates whether we are searching or other teams.
