Robby Anderson for Andre Dillard?

I don’t know the contract specifics and how it will affect cap numbers, but if Philly were interested, would you trade Robby Anderson for Andre Dillard? He’s clearly not in their starting plans and has only looked good this year against us, but their wide receiver room is pretty light in our offensive line is hot garbage. Robby could be the sacrificial lamb this coaching staff needs. It would leave our WR depth pretty bare, but perhaps we could take a flyer on a free agent WR. This is all pie in the sky, but if made available, would you pull the trigger?

For real though it does look like the Eagles are getting calls in about him so maybe that's where OP was coming from but player for player deals rarely happen.

Rare as in two in-season trades for CBs?  That sort of rare?   If so, I like our chances.

Yes rare as in 2/84 = 2.3% = rare

That's what rare means.

It was a joke based on "in on every trade" Fitts motto.  I know what rare means, but if the Eagles were actually willing to part ways, I could see some sort of deal happening.  Maybe not necessarily for Anderson, but some decent compensation package.   This OL needs to get better...NOW.. and switching around brands of air freshener for this colossal heap of elephant dung isn't doing the trick.

I know man I'm goofin too

It'd take us more than Anderson but they do have a need and they are fielding calls. Wouldn't surprise me if the Panthers are in on it. Just we keep sending those draft picks out like they are disease ridden.

    • What?!?!?! Chark's 1,000 yard season was 4 years before he played for us and he only had 525 yards in 15 games as our #1 WR.  Dude has 3,100 yards in 7 seasons, he's the literal definition of a JAG and you think he is better than half our current WR room? T-Mac is literally already better than Chark was at his peak, which again, was years before he ever even put on a Panthers uniform, and there is a real argument to be made that XL and Coker were both better as rookies than Chark was for us in his one season here.
    • Im glad we're starting low. It's nonsensical to put us at 28 IMHO based on objective things IMHO (I think 21-24) is far more appropriate but whatever. Washington was at the bottom last year FWIW.  In 2003, Sports Illustrated said our best chance to win the division was to transfer to the ACC. In 2015, everyone wrote us off as a team that snuck into the playoffs with a losing record in 2014 and lost our best WR in TC (Kelvin Benjamin). All these videos are fodder for conversation, but this prediction has no more validity than saying the Panthers are making the SB bc we're starting the season against the Jaguars again. If Bryce plays like he did down the stretch we will end up the season just fine. This roster is much better than it has been the last 2 seasons. No one knows who any season will ultimately end up, but this team is finally being built in the right way, and the idea that this roster can't compete this year is as insane as being it was when we were gaslit in 2023 that we were a rookie QB from winning the division with that roster.
