Abdullah was a great signing, really liked the up tempo dual rb threat with Chuba. Solid 2 running back rotation for under $2 million. 49ers and Bears have been doing the same thing with cheap backups/rookies

I was referring to his new contract but yeah they got an excellent return on their draft value there. Unreal that Bradberry was our only successful pick that year.

Didn’t see he signed a 50 mill contract last year. Yikes. Although if I had to bet for a rb to be worth a 2nd contract it would’ve been Henry just based on how he’s built. He’s like the Cam of rbs.

That could also apply to WR , Thomas with the Saints , Beckham with the Browns

Lets say the Panthers do trade CMC to the titans

What would it take for that to happen? 2nd rounders at best?

Traditionally big backs tend of have shorter careers. Henry definitely earned his money but I am still generally against spending wildly on a RB in thr modern NFL.

The Tennessee situation is a little different in that their offense is largely completely built around Henry. Which....that isn't a smart way to build an offense, IMO.

It’s not at all but Henry is freakish which is why I said if I absolutely had to bet it would’ve been on Henry. Obviously that’s not working out lol

Yeah, that usage rate is just insane and Henry is such a physical carrier. That just isn't sustainable unless Henry is just one of those rare freaks that doesn't break down.

There is some good points in this post. But I'm still against trading Christian. Christian is a all around players for the Panthers when he's not injured. To trade him with have to bring in at least one really good player and some great draft capital but this is IMO!
