Brees was younger and has never played the same physical style Cam has. People did question Brees until he proved he could stay healthy too. It's ok to question if Cam can stay healthy too.

I've seen this guy overcome a lot. They said he'd never throw again because it was degenerative. He passed the physical for and played for the New England Patriots.

The limitations they may perceive with Cam are due to scheme. Not letting Cam be Cam. The doubters and Peter King will eat crow again and again.

The media wanted Cam to be the bad guy coming out of Auburn. He did a great job of never being what THEY wanted him to be.

I wouldn't bet against Cam Newton, especially one that has been cleared by a doctor. A real doctor. If you want to know what happened in NE? Round peg, square hole.

This team hadn't sniffed the end zone in weeks. Look what happened. Cam has his super suit back and he may not be 2015 Cam but if he's 70% that guy it's better than TB and Darnold. It sure looks like 80-90% Cam too me.

Is he football ready? That's my only concern. Is he the future? 4yrs or so, yes. Running the ball playing defense and a good/great QB has gotten us to the dance twice.

Veteran QBs win Superbowls all the time. Nothing wrong with having one.

Peter King along with Adam Schein have been big mad at Cam for literally ten years because he wouldn't grant them interviews during his rookie offseason.  That was the lockout year when he basically had like a month and some change to digest a new offense and figure out how to be an NFL QB.

King is part of the NFL's old guard and he has a lot of preconceived notions about how things are supposed to be.  He cut his teeth in the era of the Big Important Sports Journalist whose opinions everybody has to take seriously because reasons.  They were gatekeepers in a time when you couldn't just get on the internet and talk to a pro football player on Twitter.  His style of legacy media has been dying a slow death forever.

You have some good points, but I disagree about this. If Tepper still has a hard on for Watson and the Panthers pull off that trade, Cam is gone again. If the Panthers draft a rookie this coming draft in the first, Cam might be gone depending on the guy.

Enjoy the ride while you can for the future is unknown and not promised to us.

Yup, and current Cam has wayy more left in the tank than 2015 Peyton Manning. This is all we've needed the whole time with this defense.

He was spewing the same Cam hate about the $6m salary on Florio's Youtube channel and proceeded to get trashed in the comments by fans of various NFL teams. Does he not realize Cam is going to sell out BOA next week, save the fanbase, and save Tepper from losing millions of dollars in stadium revenue? Taysom Hill/Andy Dalton are making about the same per game to keep the bench warm.

And yet, out of Andy Dalton, Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III, and the countless others they've circlejerked over as being superior to Cam Newton, none of them are going to be starting a game this weekend.  Cam is.

I am not talking about the questioning. That is fine. Up until he came and scored those two touchdowns Sunday they were saying he was absolutely finished. This is to quell the trolls, rednecks, those lacking football knowledge because the level headed fans such as yourself understand already.

Also, Cam got hurt trying to make a tackle against San Diego on interception and with the TJ Watt hit. That is what impacts his throwing shoulder more than any impact from running ever has.
