Jerry Richardson knew you didn't have to win it all, just some.

Show me the learning?

Below is the evidence to support this claim:

Being ok moving on very quickly. He will fire Rhule next year, maybe even after this year if results aren’t seen - you can bank on that.

When JR hands out a contact, either to a coach or player, he’s not paying a dime more than he has to, Rhule would be here his full contract.

That’s one example.

Learning takes time. You guys are mad it’s not some sort of 24 hour knee jerk turn around thing. Takes time to see how things work out. Learning actually takes time and periods of fug ups.

Everyone claiming and citing all this JR success, you guys realize the franchise history is still in the bottom 1/3 of the NFL. You guys the same knocking teams like the Jets as a worse team when in reality the Panthers resemble them more than any other NFL team?

It sounds greats because it’s over 25 years. That’s a LONG time. Compare franchise history with other teams and you’ll see it’s not that great.

I respect what Tepper is trying to do but his aspirations are not a one hit wonder lightning in a bottle ordeal. Still need more time.

Too harsh, we were in the Superbowl a couple years ago. Not the Jets, Jags, Bengals, Dolphins, Bears the Panthers.

We not that bad.....yet.

Over the last 25 years the only thing that separates us from the Jets is one championship game. The panthers won, they lost. But because we ‘appeared’ in the SB and proceeded to lose, our franchises is so much better lol

Meanwhile we pulled off an identical history with 10x the talent.

Not enough.

The Panthers finished exactly 500 under Richardson. What ultimately happens under Tepper remains to be seen because we're still only a few years.

Mr. Scot, we are the Browns of the South. They learned a lesson, we haven't.

Yes, most teams haven't sniffed the Superbowl in YEARS. Jets suck worse than we ever have. There are tiers. We're sucking so much under Tepper we may actually become a bottom feeder organization like the Jets or Dolphins if he doesn't figure it out.

It does count. Have some pride. Hold your head high if you're a Panthers fan. We could be the Browns.

I honestly believe if Jerry had weathered the storm, Hurney was on a short leash and would be gone by now.  Remember, Richardson fired his own kids, so as well as he liked Hurney, Marty was not cemented here.

Also, once the Daniel Synder saga eventually sees the light of day, what Jerry Richardson got accused of will be akin to jay walking.  While wrong, there's apparently a hell of a lot worse things being done out there.

This is the most f*cked up thing about the whole Richardson scandal. Not defending anything he did here, but there are other NFL owners who have and are continuing to do tons of unscrupulous stuff that is probably worse than what Richardson did, and still own their teams. Dan Snyder being top of the list.

I don’t know if there’s stuff Richardson did that never went public that was way worse than what we knew about. Because I always thought we must have seen just the tip of the iceberg for him to just be like PEACE and bow out and sell the team.

Anyway as much as we thought booting old man Richardson would be an improvement, getting a new owner has definitely turned out to be a “be careful what you wish for” situation. I can’t really think of anything that has improved about this franchise aside from some new practice facilities, all digital tickets,  and a pretty funny social media presence.

Robert Kraft is still an owner. Cheatriots get to do whatever they want though.
