While not ruling out a QB pick with our first pick ,  what if Cam plays well for the rest of our season .  This could allow Fits to trade down in the first round to a lower first round pick .  This would give us an extra pick in perhaps a lower 2nd or higher 3rd round pick .   This would give us the choice of a quality player that drops in the first ( a QB or OL player ) and maybe  another day one pick .  He could also trade down in the first for a lower first round pick and maybe a player of need .

I'm not sure where you got your stats.  Pickett has never thrown double digit INT's in a single season.

Ken Griffey not permitted on this list. Don’t know who Elizabeth Kenny is. Kenny Loggins = overrated

will concede Kenny Rodgers but the rest are JAGS.

I'm curious how the 2022 Panthers' draft will shape up.

Last draft Fitterer didn't hesitate to trade down to gain picks.  A strategy the fan base was really hopeful for but which hasn't really panned out on the field.  Outside of Horn (who looked good when playing but got injured early) nobody else from this draft class has really done that much.   Chuba looked decent in limited playing time I guess.  But no really good starters have come from the class yet.  Is it due to bad drafting ?  Bad player development ?  It remains to be seen. 

So for his next draft will Fitterer focus more on getting higher rated talent for their immediate impact on the team  (especially at OL) ?  Will he go for the QB with that first rounder (maybe getting the best choice in a weak QB class) ?  Or will Fitterer continue his MO of trading down to make up the mid round picks we lost in our recent trades ?

It's going to be really interesting to see how he handles this draft.

Pickett loves to scramble and throw and he throws a lot off his back foot from what I've seen.

Although Fitt loves to trade down he doesn't like trading down unless he receives equal points. If we don't receive an equal points offer we will likely stay put and draft wherever we land.

      Oline was worst in the nfl I agree last season, but with 2 solid guards and a very good rt, we aren't going to be a bottom 10 oline.  As for defense, I'm not worried, we actually improved against the run and because burns was dog poo last year, were about the same in pass rush.
