Carroll is a proven NFL coach though. Big difference.

1. Yes. If I didn't want this guy having full control, why do I want Rhule's babysitter and paper pusher sticking around?

2. It is anyway. Sadly.

Fitterer isn't the one who gave a college coach that kind of power.

The guy who did is the guy you're talking about entrusting to remake our entire braintrust..

Also have to realize that if you don't keep Fitterer, it's not guaranteed you keep Morgan.

The two of them are very close friends and Morgan might not be happy seeing the guy who helped him become who he is get dumped after one season when he didn't even have full power.

You willing to take that chance too?

Him and WOW!! both. WOW!! is actually a lot worse. At least Snake is willing to actually voice opinions rather than just call everyone else stupid for being willing to voice opinions.

Voice opinion.. Here you go.. Let's see the receipt of you hating and trashing the roster before the season.

Are you fuging crazy?? All those coaches have defacto control over the roster decision.. Especially Arians

I’m sure they do in your reality. But the GM was there before them in all cases. There are many more. Why not be specific as to which you disagree with. “Because you said so” isn’t a valid point for any subject

1) If there is any mercy in the universe, yes. That is how we ended up here in the 1st damn place, clean the shithouse.

2) Why not, version one has already imploded. At least the next one would be different than the last, which was Hurney level.

And you want a front office / coaching staff built by the same guy who was stupid enough to trust Marty Hurney?

I sure as hell don't.

Can't judge a class until 3 years right?? And you forgot Tremble as well in your drawn out breakdown..

Tremble is currently our best TE. The bar isn't very high, but he was our gem out of this class potentially.

But hey, if you want a quick take: bad teams have bad management. Bad managers can't fix bad teams.

Edit to add: The guy can't draft. He can trade like an MFer, but he missed a lot of excellent players while being "clever."

Wait wait wait... Hurney was here before Ron and Rhule and nobody gives him credit for building the Superbowl teams alone.. Just because the Gm is there before the HC doesn't mean he doesn't tailor his player accusation to the coaches desired player type..

Still better than Rhule's boy on a leash. Even a broke clock is right twice a day and all that.

And he put that collar on himself lol

    • That might balance out because apparently the Texans O-line is ass. He did manage to throw for almost 300 yards the last two weeks though.
    • Don't forget that Rhule actually took Tepper's offer to the Giants and they balked. He was just seeking the big payday which should have been a red flag. I have no idea how much time Tepper spends within the Panthers building. I do know that he in the past has been too much involved. He supposedly held weekly meetings with Reich. Then after firing Reich Tepper he held a press conference where he did virtually all the talking and made it about himself. Before that Tepper went out of his way to bloviate to the press about how he spoke to Bryce Young months before the draft and directly told him he wanted him to be a Panther. Then he went to the well of his selling point about Bryce being a point guard and we wouldn't need to invest in elite weapons. The guy thinks and talks like he knows what he's doing. At the end of the day the franchise has been in the gutter in large part due to he and his wife's involvement. It is what it is. Appreciate the convo.
    • Unlike most of you, I do not assume the FO thinks he is beyond repair.  For the first time since 2017 the Panthers have a chance to be in the playoffs. One more game will tie them for the most wins since 2018, 2 more wins will put them at 8 wins - the most in 8 years.  Hate all you want but a big part of that success has come from Bryce. He got them in the hole with Miami but he got them out of it as well and was a big part of that win. Against Dallas, he played very well throughout the game plus he converted on a 4th down in the final minutes putting them in FG range for the win. He may not have had a good game against the Packers but he did convert on two 3rd down conversions in the final minutes to help seal the win and of course the Falcons game was his best yet. Tepper likes him and they have a huge investment in him as well. You don't just throw that away unless you have something concrete lined up behind him - which I just don't see.
