Considering he's our fourth running back and has already seen some gametime -- and that the front office liked him enough to ****** him up from Green Bay -- I'd say they know very well what they've got in him.

If he doesn't make it here, it will only be because he happens to play at the position we have the most depth in.

This frustrates me I've been wanting to see Mike Goodson get some action he was our work horse in preseason and looked promising. But don't get me wrong if Sutton brings more to the team then more power to him.

This. I don't know if it looked like it on TV, but I was at the game and I've yet to see any Panther bring it out of the endzone this season with such authority as he did. I bet he breaks one before the end of the year if he keeps doing it.

If Goodson can perform out of the slot this would have the potential of an absolutely devastating RB core.

agreed 100%. it's a shame he gets overlooked by the QB and playcalling.

i'm guessing it won't happen until we have a QB and OC who would actually take advantage of him in that capacity.

Either they are very high on him or Fox/Davidson showed against the Dolphins how far up their A** their heads are. Sutton was in the game playing a bunch towards the end of fourth qtr against the Dolphins. I would have thought Williams would have been in the entire time and if needed a break, I was guessing Stewart must have been hurt.

Both Williams and Stewart are playing hurt. This is why Sutton was in for the fourth quarter.
