Matt Rhule just said hr evaluated an all pro LT as a guard in the NFL. It doesn't matter if BC is a guard or a LT  or the freaking waterboy. Rhule cannot evaluate oline talent.

We've seen it with Erving.

We've seen it with Elfien.

Miller. Jordan. Tecklenberg.

Not starting Brown. Not starting BC.

You don't fix the coach you cannot fix the line. It's that freaking simple no matter who you pick.

This EXACTLY

Brady is NOT a fuging guard period. He does not have the power in his ass to handle DTs every snap.

He needs to remain at LT or swing tackle off the bench. Let him get used to different stunts and zone blitzes on the edge because that was for sure his biggest problem. The guy could fight pretty good heads up. Not a world beater, but he fought.

Christensen might be a very good OG in a zone blocking scheme.   That system gets the interior line out in space and moving around a lot, which would play to Christensen's strengths of athleticism, agility and speed for his size.

Christensen is not a power guy like Deonte Brown.  Brown will thrive in a man blocking scheme where you have to be big and strong enough to just dominate your opponent.   I can't see Christensen doing well in man blocking unless he got a lot bigger & stronger.

Maybe, but he might actually do ok in some power schemes, especially as a LG being asked to pull a lot.

He actually has the athleticism to pull and to also get to the next level depending on the run play.

Honestly where he plays in the future is going to be hugely influenced by our next OC and OL coach.  Trying to decide where he is best at now is bit pointless.

Nah.  He cannot handle bull rushers and he has on occasion gotten his feet tripped up with sped guys.    Keep bc in your stable as someone that can fill in and then draft a stud at LT

Yes. Start Brady and Deonte at the G spots. Draft our franchise LT this year at 6 ( or via trade down a little later in the first). Pick up a C in FA or roll with Eiflien again and all of a sudden we’ve got a decent line!

    • Two things: 1. Dr. Eric Eager is central to the draft process 2. I know that it was edited, but we didn't hear "Thieneman" one time, not even before the Vikings pick.
    • Why would he sign here as a guard when surely someone would sign him as a tackle?  Assuming he is healthy
    • Went back to watching the highlights. With a sober mind haha. Here is what I saw.    freddie needs to make 1 of those but the rest aren’t on him.    Slavin was BBBBAAAD again last night. Not sure what is going on with these game one Slavin gafs.    miller was ok but had his worst game in the playoffs so far.    nikishin was no good. His his awful turnover led to the first goal at the end of the first period that just can’t happen. ghost was beat like a drum multiple times last night, including the go-ahead goal at the end jarivs wont shoot. He is either hurt or he is struggling mentally and I think it could be a combination of both. He passed up a wide open net on the power-play only to pass it to no one and cleared it himself.     Svech played well. He is getting zero help on that line.    aho. Worst game as a pro. I mean that. He won’t shoot it, passes go to no one and turns it over repeatedly.  He did exactly what they did against Montreal game one when Miller had a turnover. Aho left his man to go help and left the golden Knight player wide open in front of Freddie.  If I was Rod, you Tell Aho when that thing hits your stick you fire it  someone needs to sit him down just him in a room and ask what’s going on. He seems soft, timid and has zero fire.   canes could have won that game   There isn’t a gap between these two teams  they are dead even   Carter Hart’s gonna get lit up in this series. We can beat that guy. the consensus last night was our defense played horrible and our stars won’t score.  clean the defense up. Tell the top line to shoot it everything and we’ll win tomorrow night.   Possibly convincingly.
