Pickett is 6’3”

My problem with Pickett isn't height although some sites still have him at 6'2".

Pickett is scary because of his one great season.

Pickett had a 67% completion on 1 out of 5 years. Before that his completion% has been 59%, 58%,61%,61%.

In comparison my boy Carson Strong was 63%, 70%,70% in just 3years.

People need to remember he isn’t comparable to one year wonders like Burrow or Cam. Both took two years or less as college starters to produce Heisman numbers in college. Burrow waited till his 5th and 4th year at a starter at the same program….

Christian Watson just won Thursday and maybe the week.... Like wow. Wanted him but unless we trade 6 for someone's full draft 20s back he's gone. Damn want a day. And was great in the drills too.

EDIT: RAS. 10.0

I'd be down for a Malik Willis lottery ticket with the 6th pick.  Might be a reach, but he also might be a superstar where he would go 1st overall in a redraft years later.

Probably won't happen though, because Rhule is going to take Pickett or some random defensive player that's projected to go around 15 overall.

Stood out at the senior bowl correct. This backs up the tape (come on it should though he's way better than the league he played in) and the senior bowl reviews. Grown on him before the combine as a trade down target. Still might be able to do that, but not as far. Great combine performance today. Same with the Central Michigan exchange student lol

    • This.  He knows where the seam is about to open, cuts, and accelerates hard. He’s slippery and tacklers always seem to be taking awkward angles to get to him. No dancing. Runs low and powerful. Almost never goes backwards for a loss. We’ve rarely had the guy who bounces off of tacklers. It’s nice seeing another one.
    • I can't speak for others but yes I read it. The conclusions are based heavily around the use of the statistical metric DYAR created by football outsiders and used by ESPN for this article. It only includes players whose production began in 2000. But excluding HOF running backs who produced BIG in an iteration of the NFL that was not yet catered to making things much easier for offenses in order for them to prop up more recent candidates is rather absurd and seems like just playing favorites regardless of where one might fall on their opinion of the use of the metric in question.
    • Same thing I first thought but then I saw it was against Jacksonville and took about half a second of playing to know. I was at that game.  I can't tell you my level of excitement when I saw it was Delhomme instead of Peete who came out for the 2nd half. Delhomme has and will probably always be my favorite Panther.
