Whole lot of Deshaun Watson chatter happening out there

I know it’s been said already on one of these topics excuse me if it’s repeated I can’t keep up but not only is Watson’s agent following the Panthers but so isn’t his marketing team. They don’t follow Seattle or any other team for that matter. Where there’s this much smoke there will be fire. Just sense it. 🤷🏼

Because there’s a high probability that he’s going to be their target if Watson falls through

I don't want either of them for completely different reasons. I'm a build the OL this year and see what happens QB wise the next season. This season is going to be a mess anyway.

As much as it pains me to say...  I think the Russ trade was just a starting point.

I’m thinking 3 1st’s, a 2nd and a 3rd then 2 players…

1) Chinn (they don’t want to deal Burns)

2) Henderson or Taylor

Houston doesn’t have to draft Hamilton or a CB with their 3rd or 6th overall picks and can use them on OL or edge rusher

Houston can come out of this looking pretty good.

Ok well Tepper doesn’t really believe in throw away years or we wouldn’t be in this mess right now

Jimmy G to the Colts makes all the sense. They need a game manager, already have an OL, running game, and defense. The Saints make sense too.

I agree Jimmy to Indy does make a ton of sense. I think the Colts make the playoffs this past season if they had Jimmy G

I’m really hoping if Watson falls through Indy pushes hard for Jimmy

Yeah that looks similar to what I think it will take...  I really hope we hang onto Burns and Chinn though.  Maybe throw Derrick Brown in there.

    • Kon is a damn stud but it’s not any individual player’s team. All of the “big 3” are incredibly and equally important IMO. And LaMelo makes Kon way better (look at his shooting splits with LaMelo on the floor vs without. Also Moose and even Miles are important cogs. Honestly think we’re 1 piece away from being legit top contenders if the young guys continue to develop the next year or two. I trust this FO to be patient to find that piece within the next 2-3 years and not force anything. Plenty of time and even without adding anyone we have the pieces in place overall already to compete with any team.
    • We lost 2 very close and winnable games against top teams in the league while missing 3 critical players despite 2 of our top 3 players shooting unusually terribly. Still split the 4 games that Moose and Miles were suspended, winning the most important one vs the Hawks. This ain’t yo mama’s Hornets man. Hopefully Coby can go soon but even if not Moose and Miles are huge additions for our starting lineup and bench rotations. Schedule is pretty tough after these next 4 but I think we’ll take care of business the next 4 to get to .500 then finish slightly above .500 after that to get a 7 or 8 seed. Keep it rolling boys. Also Kon is having an insanely historic rookie season as a shooter. Like truly can’t believe my eyes watching this kid level of historic. Man what a fuging home run of a draft pick and exactly what this team needed to take that next step forward. He’s gonna shatter the rookie 3 point and franchise 3 point records. Has a real chance to be the 2nd best 3 point shooter ever or dare I say even get to Curry’s level (as a pure shooter, Curry obviously has way more to his game that has made him a GOAT).
    • I hear you but yeah like you say, above average. His numbers were good. You’d think it would be a no brainer. Anyhow… I guess the new staff is also fine with him walking?    I hope if we sign him there isn’t some secret issue of his that led to him not being valued.
