fug no.

Let him take care of his legal issues first. All of them. And then get some counseling. And then get back into football shape. Then prove that contracts mean something to him by playing a season for the Texans before screaming for a trade.

The guy did shitty things to women, to his team, his teammates and their fans. Let ol' Handjobs and Histrionics sit there in Houston.

4 out 5 playoff appearances with 3 division titles and a SB appearance in years 3-7 (was his prime) is winning. 51-28-1 is a little better than 10-6 every year.

And 0 back to back winning seasons and an early ending to his career because we never gave him an OL. One of the reasons we have never won a SB. Now imagine Cam with ZERO draft picks the next 2-3 years.

Not the best comparison, but if we are going there he took us to our second ever SB since 03, which between the nfl manning agenda and Rivera we should have won.

Yeah basically no better than when we had Jake with a loaded team. Now take away our 1-3rd round picks the next 2-3 years and cripple our salary cap and see how it looks. Hell we couldn’t even have back to back winning seasons then…

0 back to back winning seasons. Don't leave that out.

Right? They are over there pitching it like it was some dynasty. One incredible year 15-1 and then we fell into the playoffs at 7-9 with as you stated no back to back winning seasons. How would be even build an OL around Watson with no cap space or picks? He will get get injured…

It's a horrible idea to even consider.

And? Cam’s prime had 51 wins in 5 years with 4 playoff appearances. There’s no other way to define that except winning.

We've had 23 losses in the past two years. We had 28 losses in 5 years from 2013-2017. We are so shell shocked by the Tepper era that we can’t even look back fondly at 2011-2017. We found our QB and Luke and had stuff to watch after week 17 in 4 out of 5 years. 2015 ended terribly but it was a fuging fun ride most fans never get to experience. I even got 4 amazing autographed Steph Curry pictures from his trainer who’s son played on my son’s bball team. He even signed them while watching us throttle the Cardinals to go to the SB and my wife and I watched in a pub at a Sandals Resort. That’s winning in my book. That’s also why the past few years have just sucked so hard.

Of course those were fun times, were. It's history and it's about to be flushed away by throwing everything away, including their integrity to acquire a player that shouldn't even be in the league.

    • Nobody on the huddle is saying we have an elite group offensively across the board. They aren't great. They're young. If you are expecting someone to agree with your position of blaming everyone around Bryce Young nearly three full seasons into his career you are going to be left holding the bag save for a handful of people who act like they are paid to defend his honor. Bryce Young is not a guy who has had to claw and fight his way into starting jobs in football. He's had the best to work with and been gifted roles since he was a teenager. The Panthers have one of the youngest rosters in the league and with us needing an infusion of young defensive talent in the upcoming draft we're only going to get younger. We need a QB who possesses the ability to elevate those around him. If you can't agree with me on that then there's nothing further to discuss.
    • All Bryce and the Panthers had to do was split with the Saints and a rookie QB. The bar was so low. They even had a whole bye week to prepare. The time for singing kumbaya was before that game. Anyone still talking about Bryce earning a second contract 43 games into his career is living a fantasy. He might get one from the Tepper owned Panthers but he's damn sure not earned it.
