Fitterer: Go get C Bradley Bozeman

Bozeman is a C who is excellent as a run blocker and a pass blocker.  He is 27, so you can offer him a longer deal (3-4 years).  To have Bozeman, Corbett, and Moton on one side of the ball, you would have the right side of the LOS locked down for the next 3 years.   Furthermore, you would be (perhaps) one player away from a dominant OL, depending on what you decide to do with Brady Christensen and how well he plays there.

I think Tretter is 31, but he is a more established C. At 31, a center has 5 good years left.  Bozeman was a G for a while but settled into his more natural position.

We were reportedly interested early.  I wouldn't know what the hold up would be...  if we can get him. I would feel a thousand times better about our line.

We have Elflein there now---and after watching him get bull rushed into the QB from the G spot, he is not the answer--a good backup LG/C, but if he is on the field, the offensive coordinators are aware.

Look, I've been banging the drum for our draft pick to be Linderbaum, even at #6 because we desperately need a top flight Center.

If we were to pick up Bozeman, I'd be so happy with that. Of course, I want them to check him out using a different doctor than the one that gave passing grades to both Paradis and Elflein.

Yeah, this line can be built to compete, but without a best in the game center, you'll never solidify the line. This could be the best money we could ever spend.

I think the hold up was waiting on Watson. Now that we are out of that race, the money can go elsewhere.

Right I was thinking he was the older between the 2…love their running game..I like Bozeman a little better cause age and can play guard too. Hell I wouldn’t be upset if they signed both of them haha. I’m all in on the build a monster oline finally(like Dallas, Cleveland, Baltimore have). Benefits us regardless of who’s the coach next year and whoever is under center. Not to mention CMC, Hubbard, Foreman…
