Everything about Tepper and Rhule's Panthers has been depressing. Watching them flounder betting big on trash veteran QBs that the vast majority of the fanbase knew we're gonna flop hard is just pathetic.

Musical chairs is ending and they may not have a choice.  Pickett or Willis isn’t winning any more games in 2023 then darnold.

They've made it too clear they're moving on from Darnold just like they did with Teddy when they soured on him. They're gonna do something and if history is any indication it's gonna be something very dumb that fails spectacularly.

Stroud is absolutely the guy next draft but no way in hell we know if we are even possibly in a position to take him.  Just tired of people shooting down every option with no clear idea of reality.  

Stroud looks great but also has some great WR talent around him. 2 first rounders and his third option looked great that last bowl game. He put up some video game numbers, but so did Fields and Haskins in that offense. Young and Stroud look good, but they have stacked teams they are playing on.

Agreed but even the dumb options are dwindling.   They are painting themselves into a corner and will have to start darnold

I mean…Bridgewater was ok and Darnold was a swing and miss.  The options weren’t there.  Similar to this situation.  Do we swing again and probably miss or just take the best player available?  I would trade back a little and take the best talent if Neal is gone.  It won’t stop everyone from second guessing decisions but those are the options

Here's the problem:

We need a QB and LT 

We have the #6 pick but our next selection is #137 

This means we can only solve 1 of those two issues

- we take Pickett/Willis @6 we miss out on a LT

- we take Cross/Ekwonu @6 we miss out on a QB
