I love Jake, but even I'll be surprised if he's starting next week. He's done.
LMAO! You're just NOW figuring this out when this is the same performance we've been seeing nearly every week since January? So does this mean you are as negative as you claimed everyone else was being or are you finally becoming a realist like the rest of us?

Fox will "debate" it....realize that starting Moore with 5 games left is too much time and will expose Fox for ruining the season by not playing a slightly better QB much earlier...one that could have not sabotaged games and helped the Panther obtain a better record.......Fox will again claim Jake gives the team the best chance.

If Fox says that again, I want the Panthers beat reporters from The Observer/Herald/Gazette to read this post:

I will buy a subscription to the newspaper of the reporter that really presses Fox on that. If Reed/Gantt/Chandler, if any of you guys have the balls to question how someone with 18 picks gives the team the best chance to win, I will buy a year's subscription to your newspaper.

Oh NOW he's done.

Cyberjag says so.

He's been done for awhile now thanks for coming to the party late.

I really didn't think so until watching the game today. I still think Davidson is terrible, but Jake's long ball is completely gone and with it I think his game is as well.

I'm not one to jump the gun about anything or anyone, and I still think Jake, as bad as he is, is the best QB on the roster. But there's no way we win out, and given his play it makes no sense to stay with him. If nothing else, we'll at least know that Moore is not the answer either.

Jake probably does give the team the best chance to win, as sad as that is. I can't think of another team in the league as hurting at QB as we are.

It really sucks that it had to end this way for him.

jake gives the panthers no chance to win. any wins the rest of the year are a fluke as long as jake is the QB and whoever is responsible for the play calling is still doing it.

we should have moved on before now but i have serious doubts that fox will make a change.

i can't imagine the support from players is going to be as strong as it was earlier in the season. gross will still be leading the campaign to keep jake. smith will stay quiet.

it just looks like the team feels like they are done. the happiest day of the season is going to be on january 3 because that means this nightmare of a season will be finally over.

props to cyberjag for finally seeing it and admitting it but the writing was on the wall a long time ago. it's time to move on. i just wonder when you are going to see that fox needs to go as well....

    • If you need someone to run your multi-billion dollar business, maaayyyybe don't hire a guy whose previous work experience includes repeated blows to the head and literal brain damage but IDK.
    • Extrapolate that with every QB for that matter. I guarantee you there's quite a bit of missed opportunities and yards left on the field for everyone. Many NFL QBs deal with WRs not putting in A+ effort, subpar o-line play and other deficiencies. The great ones are able to rise above these issues and create opportunities for plays. Guys like Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes can both play in and out of structure, as well as find ways to get yards when things break down and mask mistakes by throwing guys open, creating opportunities from nothing, etc. Bryce Young has only shown he's able to make things happen when the rest of the team picks up his slack. Very rarely does he create those opportunities himself. When this is a consistent pattern year after year with Bryce where he shows up lackluster, it's a concern. This is year three and he should be elevating the team as a first overall pick this franchise traded up for.  He was far from elevating anyone against JAX. In fact, he needed others to elevate and create for him. Excuses may be fine for a rookie, but this is year three for the first overall pick. Not looking good so far.
    • I think the worst issue is coaching. Countless bad snaps, XL not getting his feet in or trying on runs plays, our centre being down field when he didn't need to be. All seem to be from poor coaching for me. I believe Canales is to soft to rip the players a new one when the fug up. Plus I honestly believe that Canales is slow getting his plays in giving Bryce less time to diagnose and adjust to the defence. Don't worry I could of head butted Bryce for that fumble and the 4th down throw aways but the other plays are explainable to me
