When you are on the hotseat….you will throw anything against the wall you can.    That’s why Rhule pretends and has this being a competition.  Because he likely will quickly go to musical chair QB rotation to save face and buy time.   Gives him the “it’s totally the QB” angle.

Very sad days in Panthernation. In hindsight, who doesn't love jeans day?

Where can one watch Mr. Rhule...at 12:30?

Little late to answer this, but the best place to catch it is on the Panthers YouTube channel.

If you catch it in time, you can rewind it. If you don't, it'll be put back up later on.

Reports have also said Rhule won’t be unhappy when he leaves.    It’s not all one sided in terms of rumorville.  None suggest a happy and well run org.  More an unhappy marriage with a typical public face IMO…which there really is no other way to handle it.

Well, I'd think that this offseason has at least provided enough evidence that Rhule and company have been more thoughtful about their plan and approach to improve the team. How they exactly got there, we'll likely never know the complete story.

As for reports about Rhule being happy when he leaves, that's simply based on money and the thought that he will have many opportunities in the NCAA. It doesn't mean that he actually wants to leave his current position, or that the staff is bereft of harmony. I'm sure they're has been stress and tension due to the train wreck that was last season. But, however the change came about, Rhule has been better for it this offseason, and hopefully the change will translate during the season.

Here he goes with the excuses already lol. Didn't have the staff he wanted because of NFL hiring rules ok sure. So this is like his first actual year getting a fair shot in his mind

Yeah... bullsh-t!

Rhule fired one coach from his first year staff, DL Coach Mike Phair. All the other staff changes came from guys who took other jobs.

If there were other guys he was dissatisfied with, there was nothing to stop him from replacing them.

Frank Okam had a presser the other week.   He is the Raiders DL Coach.   He looks to of moved on to a better job.

Meyer took a job with the Steelers to be OL coach.  He looks to of moved on to a better job

Chase is assist ST coordinator with the Titans.   He looks to of moved on to a better job.  I didn’t realize they retained him after Tabor was hired.

Everyone one of them is now employed at a better place.  Lateral moves to better teams.

There were others who left on their own, mostly for lateral moves.

    • You're assuming just as well.   Morgan and Canales were hired 3 days apart.  I believe it was partially due to their connections in Seattle.  i believe Tepper wanted some familiarity with his GM and HC.  It is so easy to sit back and arm-chair QB over draft picks.  You don't know what the philosophy was going into the 2024 draft.  I believe Canales and Morgan were drafting for the future.  XL and Brooks point to that philosophy. Name me one GM that is 100% on draft picks.  Just one.  You're not going to find one.    I think year one picks weren't for what can you do for me now but Potential.   XL hasn't lived up to the hype of a 1st rounder.  I think we all can agree on that. However, there still is hope he comes around.  What I believe they saw in him was his speed after the catch.  He needs to get more consistent but when he gets the ball you kind of hold your breath just a second because if he gets free, he's gone.  The Brooks pick was a signing for the future, and no one could have guessed he would re-injure the same ACL.  This makes the pick look bad but Dallas was ready to draft him later that same round.  IMO we'll have to see what happens next season before we can call this a bust. Wallace has improved each season and for a third rounder has done well.  Sanders has shown flashes and considering the pick in the 4th round it wasn't a bad pick.  His sophomore season IMO was a little bit more productive.  Smith-Wade has been a good addition and has played well.  For a 5th round pick to get as much playing time as he has.  Most picks below round 3 should take a couple of years to get up to speed.  He's been a decent player.  Crumedy, no comment We turned Barrett into Jackson.  This was an amazing move and basically got a starting CB for a 7th round pick.  Pretty shrewd if you ask me. Coker, maybe the best Free Agent signing of the 2024 draft class. So, in short, you can't say that the draft was a bust.  It isn't a home run but all but one are still on the team and outside of Brooks have made contributions to wins.  2025 draft class has been much better with almost every pick making contributions this season.  Now take Fitterer's two years and compare them to Morgan and tell me that they have the same philosophy.
    • He hasn’t led crap, he’s on loaded teams and a piece of the puzzle. And he’s he has improved drastically but it took the ultimate QB whispers in Shanahan and KOC. You put him on this Panther team and he’s back to normal Darnold
    • Slavin and Jarvis week to week. Florida cheap shots took out our two best players.  I’d start KK so he can beat the brakes off someone.
