What I can’t stand is the players association willingness to defend this scumbag. I guess they have to but it’s still gross and not a good look.

Yeah the NFLPA going from an idea of unionizing and protecting players health and whatever to better call saul defense lawyers is pretty lame. They should have their own internal guidelines of how to handle misconduct before it even gets to this level of representing guys. At least like "this is out of our bounds, good luck explaining your weird personal poo in court"

When the OP isn't bright enough to realize the appeal is to make the suspension LONGER lol.

Yeah I comprehended that part just fine. My question is in regards to the appeal possible allowing Watson to play while until its resolution.

There is a remote possibility for that if he or the NFLPA were to secure an injunction that prevented the suspension from starting.

That's highly unlikely though given that neither party had expressed a desire to appeal the original suspension, only a lengthened one.

How about the possibility he serves 6 games, and then plays a couple while waiting for the court verdict, and then gets the full year suspension and sits again?

    • The lack of discipline has seriously been our downfall the last month. Seems like we just went off course this last month and Lee won't address it. You can't just live and die by the 3 when you can attack the paint and at worst draw a foul
    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
