Meanwhile Christensen at LG…

Interesting. BC looked better at LG than I thought he would. His quickness at footwork look pretty solid. It seems clear than Icky and BC need to be the starters on the left side. How did Bozeman look? I’m sure better than Elf…

BC looks like he belongs on the OL as a starter. If Horn can stay healthy and we get anything out of TMJ or Tremble that 21 class could be decent… Shi is starting to come along, Taylor got some good PT last year and is good depth. Even Hoskins is starting to look ok.

Some PFF numbers. No Bozeman grade on here but you see where Elf is. Red means bad

Didn’t realize Corbett played poorly. He was solid with the Rams last year. They really need to get their starting lineup situated so they can gel together.

Corbett has not been good anywhere else he played besides with the Rams, and McVay is pretty good at scheming against guys weaknesses. There is no excuse for still trotting out Elf and Jordan though.

Rhule should not be here and it so obvious to everyone except Tepper.

Corbett better not get to comfortable. Mays will come in and snatch his job if he’s not careful. Pleasants also might snatch a position up.

Just based off of yesterday I’d go.

LT - Ekwonu

LG - Christensen, Brown

C - Bozeman, Tecklenburg

RG - Corbett, Mays

RT - Moton, Pleasants

Would probably want to add a veteran after cut downs and move one of Tecklenburg or Brown to the PS.

Anywhere else? Lol he is only 26 was drafted in the second round by the dysfunctional Browns and only played there his rookie year before being traded to the Rams. So all you are saying is he looked bad his rookie year playing for the Browns and played much better when traded to another team.

Corbett got Mayfield crunched on that deep ball to Robby

Yeah I’d expect a missed block or two in his first preseason game on a new team/scheme with new OL around him. They need to keep our starting OL out longer the next game to let them build some chemistry.

    • Maybe a bit of a homer take but I can't give us a grade lower than A.   Freeling was arguably the best LT prospect in the draft.  His athletic ability is off the chart and at 6'7" that can move.  It was a no brainer pick.   Hunter's key word is Violence. Putting him next to Brown should scare an offensive coordinator. These two give Scourton and Phillips plenty of chances to get one on one opportunities. Brazzell, another tall receiver with sprinter speed.  Our WR room is filled with tall talented WR.  Brazzell is going to give us a WR that can take to roof off the defense.  Basically Jimmy Horn with size. W. Lee III has a nickname of the Blanket. (heard this on the Beleav podcast with J. Stewart)  What a great name.  A great value in the 5th round. Hecht A strong, fast and extremely smart center. Many had him listed as the best center in the draft.  He's most likely a starter sooner than later. Wheatley A good safety in round 5.  Someone who could see playing time.   Kuwatch  I love this pick.  At minimum he will be a key piece on special teams and with some good coaching he'll see some packages where he'll play.  His down piece is he doesn't stay up in the running game.  Good coaching will fix this.  He reminds me a bit of A.J. Klein.   All these picks were great value.  I believe everyone of them were graded higher than the pick we took them.   Dan Morgan is IMO doing a great job turning this team into a good team with great depth.
    • Moton is a class act.
    • Sure, that is possible. That’s what, an extra 55 yards a game on average and 7 more TDs? What if he’s just 15th?  I imagine they would extend him in that situation due to the belief that he’ll keep trending up. maybe a 3 year contract to prove he can be top 10? Sounds like a Tepper plan.
