For instance, before ESPN+, App State had a subscription service for their games that was like $25 for the season or some poo.

I had that and it sucked absolute ass.  It looked like somebody was on the top of the stadium pointing a HandyCam from 2001 at the field.  They piped the radio broadcast in over it and it usually went out of sync.

Give me the presentation and production quality of ESPN+ for $10 a month all day over that.  poo looks like Sunday Night Football compared to what we used to get, if App was even on TV.  Plus David Jackson giving us homer takes in the announcing booth, that's been nice.

Yeah I did too, it was laughably bad. I'm very thankful for ESPN+ it being owned by the Disney overlords notwithstanding.

😂 Great play but damn if the audio on the radio call was atrocious and the video was terrible and missed the best part of the play even though the ball was easily seen. So close if they just follow the ball.

I'm guessing they were watching the play with their eyes rather than the screen and didn't adjust the angle until after the catch.

One of the camera men who gets tackles there at the end actually had an awesome shot if you look it up

here's one of them from the App State camera man that was beside them that's also good but I'm still looking for the video from the guy that gets tackled at the end.

I can't find the one from the camera man that got tackled anymore but I saw it come through my twitter feed yesterday immediately afterwards but now there's like 50 billion videos of the play everywhere so it's impossible to find one video almost.

The consensus seems to be that most of the country dug College Gameday.  Corso seemed to be happy and on point as well, and that was heartwarming considering what he's been through.

I haven't been to Boone in ten years, but when they did that shot floating over Sanford Mall it all came rushing back to me.  I felt like I had just been there yesterday and not a decade ago.

    • Interesting topic.  I have had a few NFL friends and one told me that he could not work out or train unless the activities and facilities were approved. AI: In many NFL contracts, certain activities are restricted, and injuries sustained during those activities can lead to the voiding of contract guarantees or even the entire contract. These restrictions often include dangerous activities like skydiving, rock climbing, or even engaging in contact sports like boxing. Additionally, injuries sustained while working out at non-team facilities or during personal recreational activities may be classified as "non-football injuries," potentially impacting the player's compensation.    Having said that, I question the reason the person filming this was not helping.  Secondly, the decision to put it on social media makes it seem a bit prearranged.  I do not think this would violate his contract, but I do think it is a bit stupid on his part in that he could be injured.
    • Doesn't make it right.  And as you put it, you wanted to ban him from being country, which is essentially policing who he is as a person lol  I get protecting the "asset", but banning people from living their life is crazy. Russell Wilson likes to play helicopter pilot.  I would deem that WAY more dangerous.  Those things scare me.  I still wouldn't want to keep him from doing it if I were his boss.  I would just try not to think about it, haha.
    • Could do better could do worse. I've seen some people very indignant over bringing him back and I can absolutely relate to the sentiment. But it's just in a backup role. He's also a good locker room presence and an effort player so for a 1 year rental in a year where we aren't going to do much it's fine. This is a development year. And there will be options if need be at the trade deadline. Besides at the end of the day we all knew a signing like this was around the corner after how drafting Mark Williams ended. He should have been our franchise center for the next several years. I don’t put that failure on the Hornets.
