You need to re-watch the game and focus on Moton. FYI I had a high hopes for him heading in.

After you re-watch the game, listen to old smitty whom shared my feelings-

Yeah, half a sack buddy. I don't care what smitty said. He's media now and he has to have a number of talking points for his allotted time. Taylor Moton had zip to do with Baker's fumbles, tipped passes cause of Baker's height, Baker's interception, or the coaches giving CMAC like ten rushes. You should have said from jump that this is Steve Smith's opinion that he came up with and I am going to siphon off of and present as my own.

We got different eyes for sure. I did not need smitty to tell me about Mo towns play. Feel free to use the search function here about my feelings towards Moton. You will find the following- Disagreed with re-signing him,*but only panther average OLman*. Fought for years against many huddlers, Ive called him around 16th best RT. Didnt think he was worth top 5 money. So please look it up, Ive been saying stuff like that FOR years, before smitty sounded off on him. Pick any year and you will find out.

    • Care to elaborate why you disagree? We kicked the ball off 3 times and we kept the Browns to starting field position of the 22, 27, and 10 (would have been 21 before a penalty). All 3 of those are successes with the modern kickoff rule.
    • Its August so obviously quality options are not there. The question is whether any improvement can be made to the bottom of the depth chart.
    • NFL has a huge amount of parity.  The talent level between most NFL starters outside of the top 5 to 10 guys at a position is very comparable.  2020 worst teams Jacksonville Jaguars - 1-15 (worst record in NFL) New York Jets - 2-14 Cincinnati Bengals - 4-11-1 Atlanta Falcons - 4-12 Houston Texans - 4-12 Carolina Panthers - 5-11 Detroit Lions - 5-11 Philadelphia Eagles - 4-11-1 Los Angeles Chargers - 7-9 Denver Broncos - 5-11 2024 Worst teams New York Giants - 3-14 (tied for worst) Cleveland Browns - 3-14 (tied for worst) Tennessee Titans - 3-14 (tied for worst) New England Patriots - 4-13 Carolina Panthers - 5-12 Jacksonville Jaguars - 4-13 Las Vegas Raiders - 4-13 New York Jets - 5-12 Chicago Bears - 5-12 Arizona Cardinals - 8-9 Bengals, Texans, Lions, Eagles, Broncos and the Jags have all made the the playoffs in the last 3 years. What I'm saying is it's stupid to argue when team is the worst when there is so much parity and the system allows quick turnarounds.
