this man catches alot of greif. but for what its worth i wouldnt mind seeing him come back next season. he hasnt been worth a second round pick, but i d like to see him with a decent qb throwing the ball. moose hanging around and not leting go of his number 2 spot hasnt helped. when hes thrown the ball most of the time all i see him do is make the catch. so i dont know what most people see he's doing wrong that i dont. i don't know is he not getting separation is that it. also given that hes our third reciver in a running offense chances to have a big game are limited even steve is suffering. i think jarrett warrents another season with a decent qb...thoughts?????

As long as Moose is here, Jarrett will forever be the third stringer. Fox sticks to his vets, especially when it comes to the offensive side of the ball, just look at Jake, then Moose can barely contribute anymore. If Moore starts, give Jarrett the start since that is going to be the combo for years to come.

If he finishes the year strong, he'll probably be back.

If he still has poor production, he's done.

thats just it tho not even our number 1 is producing. i dont see how our number 3 can have a big game when its rare we run 3 wr. i blame jake, the offense and fox's own lack of devloping rookies

i agree i dont think jarrett's got his fair shake as a wr on this team because fox's blind allegance to veterans. he blocks well, hands seem good enuff. i think he lacks speed, i love moose but we prob could have gotten the same output from jarrett this season.

Jarrett has been given little chance.....when he has been given reps and he a read is made in his direction....he has come through pretty consistantly. 2 of the balls thrown to him late in the game last week......should have been picked....he caught one....and then caught the other w/ a little PI.....and that is better than letting a defender get position and pick one.

I would like to see Jarrett back. I think he can contribute. What scares me more is in some of the posts here it talks about with John Fox................... To me that is more of a NOOOOOOOO. I want to move on from the John Fox era. I am tired of this brand of football. With that being said, I would like to see what the NEW coaching regime thinks of and how they use Jarrett before he is out of here.

    • I get what you are saying. I'm just saying we made it to the win, we should have a bit of class and not dogpile on the QB because his stat line wasn't great. His stat lines weren't great for almost his entire pro career, but this time, we got a win. Give him a breather.  The team cleared the bar. In the end, that's all that matters. Do it enough times and well, good things happen.  We've shat the bed enough times with good-ish QB play. It's not like we've been regularly to the playoffs even with our best performing QBs over the years. Heck, Matt Stafford was a helluva QB in Detroit for a long time with nothing to show for it. Steve Bartowski was a great QB back in the day, but in 20 years of watching I saw one playoff game for the Falcons. Heck, even Dan Marino spent most of his illustrious career on a lousy Dolphins team.  And yet, Tampa's first Superbowl ring was with the esteemed Trent Dilfer at the helm. Sometimes it goes like that.
    • I don't care what they tell me. Its what they actually do that matters. Coaches and GM's say crap all the time to keep fan interest. They are always trying to sell you something.
    • But you have to separate the 2 things in order to move forward.  Its okay to enjoy winning and its also okay to be critical of what is happening.  Coaches do it why cant we?   Also they have to be thinking next off season, next year all in real time.  They are applying what is working, where help is needed and how to get better and make plans for that.   I am weirdly confident that Dan and Dave are seeing what we are seeing and will adjust.   The wildcard however are the teppers
