Fox still trying to screw with people--Starting QB "game time decision"

Fwiw, I don't really blame Fox for being circumspect on who will start Sunday. Keeps some seed of doubt in the opponents mind, and makes it slightly harder to prepare for us.

When you do the weekly call w/ the opposing media w/ Moore and have your players talking to your own media about the upcoming week.......it doesn't do anything.

Gameplanning for opponents weaknesses, evlauating your own teams strengths and weaknesses and working around them, in game adjustments......Fox laughs at that.

Not telling the media the obvious.......THAT is his idea of what a coach does.

Some of you guys take this stuff way too seriously.

It's just a game coaches play. Is he fooling anybody? Not likely, but it's still what he's gonna do. And so what?

Same thing on draft day. Coaches all over the league will be blowing smoke. The only people who will buy into it are fans and ESPN reporters (who will get pissy about it after the fact).

What I don't understand is why fox would play that game in the first place. Delhomme has sucked all season, and it's not very hard to see that. And even with Moore in, it wouldn't make any difference because teams are gameplanning against our QB anyways, whether it's Delhomme and how bad he sucks, or Moore with his inexperience..

Combination of things. Fox has a basic mindset at certain positions (QB being the biggest) that more experienced automatically equals better. Not always true, mind you, but I`m not sure you could convince Fox.

The second thing? Just plain stubbornness.

Both QB's have different stregths and weakness. Example: Jake as I recall was one of the least blitzed QB's so far, because of his play. With Moore, they actually might blitz the hell out of him because of his inexpirence.

:iagree: with both

Now get over it and use your energy to support the team with Moore. :hurray: Act like grownups. ;)
