Hurts when we look back at the tank in 2020 threads. How obvious was it that we needed to get as many draft picks and clear as much cap space as possible for 2022/2023? Between Brees, Brady and Ryan, it was obvious that we just needed to focus 100% on rebuilding, not on Teddy, Sam and Baker. Rhule was a mistake, but damn we could have had a bunch more talent and cap space right now.

Yeah, you were preaching it the entire time. In hindsight, you couldn't have been more right.

There is another thing we have to really hope Fitterer wasn't responsible for, flushing all those supplemental picks we could have had.

That's not all on Rhule and too many of those people are still around making decisions like Burns' new contract...

True, he did suck but who knows who laid out the plan to try to compete while sort of rebuilding. I don’t think keeping Marty helped at all because he was always covering his ass to stay employed. It doesn’t really matter now although based on the Rams’ fate, I do think as good as Burns is, we will regret not making that deal.

It was all Rhule. From day one. That’s the only reason Hurney was there was for appearances. Rhule had total control. And now I read he claims he didn’t? What a d-bag. They could have hired Andrew Berry but he wouldn’t interview because he knew Rhule had all the power.which is why no one else interviewed either. Wonder why? I read some of his comments from last week and they are fictional at best.

    • Aww that is soo sweet of him 😀
    • Yeah, I'm not back for sure, just lurking during the off-season. Can't post anything someone may disagree with without it being taken as some personal attack. Anyway, yeah, Nikishin will be on the 2nd pair with Burns. RBA's exit presser really sounded like Burns will move down to the 2nd line. Slavin-Chatty Nikishin-Burns Ghost-Walker Morrow
    • I dont think this is the flex you think it is.  He said this, and then went on to have the worst 2 starts in arguably historyto start the season.  Which in turned gave DC no other option then to bench.  So yeah,  focusing on the offseason obviously matters.  So dunking on the netflix folks looks pretty embarrassing all things considered.   qb rating of 6 and 10.      "I was kind of away from football for the most part, just living every other aspect of my life. Just hanging out, being around family, being around friends, getting back to a routine that doesn't revolve as much around football. For me, it was still being able to just enjoy and work out, but the Xs and Os actual football part, kind of stepping away from it." "Legit, it sounds boring, like I'm holding something out, but I'm not. But it's really like I watch YouTube, I watch TV, I watch Netflix, and every once in a while, I'll go someplace to maybe look at some clothes or something. There's nothing really cool that I'm just trying to hang onto. I'm definitely kind of a homebody. I'm an only child, so I'm used to being able to just chill on my own. That's how I decompress. So it's really just that."
