Dude Sam Darnold made Elite NFL THROWS LAST GAME.

He's made elite not run of the mill Elite NFL throws for us.

Richardson's best throws won't fit in NFL windows.

The guy isn't good.

If you were to poll 32 gms on which qb they would rather have all 32 would take ar.  Don’t get yourself

Picking and choosing what games you want to argue means nothing to me. Those four games are what you cling to because they are truly the only numbers that work in Richardsons favor.

The only one upset here you is little man. Sorry not everybody loves a QB prospect that hits one of two throws. And I watched plenty of Florida this year to know blaming your receivers is an extreme cop out.

But don’t forget! Those four games!

I “cling” to those four games because it’s the only time those two players played against the same defenses. You know, comparing where it makes sense? If you think my receivers were good then you definitely did not watch Florida games.

They both play in the SEC. They both play an ACC team to end the year. I don’t need to pick and choose different games to fit my argument. I have 12 games to look at.

Four different times this year Richardson couldn’t complete 10 or more passes in a game. Not one, not two,  four. The boards sudden obsession with him is truly one of the more mesmerizing things I’ve seen on a sports message board. There is no stat or combination of stats that says he’s going to be any good at the next level. He’s athletic and has a big arm. He’s also barely completing half of his passes.

They think running the ball from the QB position looks cool and sexy. They also think running the ball from the RB position is boring and stone age.

It's truly baffling.

It’s weird for you to do this “they think” when it’s completely inaccurate.

I've seen him miss wide open easy throw by 10 yds.

10 yds like not even close. He's worse than The Golden Calf of Bristol.

We will pin a thread with those four games just for you. Right at the top. Fortunately for scouts and Levis, they have more than four games to judge and evaluate. There is no reality where teams look at those games and have the needle moved one way or they other.

The only reality where such a small part of the picture matters is Varking’s.

Fifty percent passer. Lol.

You want to know what’s really weird though? Thinking someone who completes fifty percent of his throws is actually not terrible.

That’s how I know you don’t watch ball. You watch box scores. You said he’s terrible. So he won’t get drafted? Or do NFL scouts know something you don’t?

    • Completely agreed.  TBH, we have had so many great players that are in my favorite list, and I hate to narrow it down to one, but Cam is it.  Which is crazy, because you would think it would be more of the guys I grew up watching, but no.  Cam was the single most impactful player to ever out on a football uniform imo.  And like I said in an earlier post, I always felt a kinship with him in a lot of ways…  the way he was treated and judged for the off the field stuff in Florida and having to overcome all of that and fight show at back.  And although I am not a black man, I have always been welcomed by and accepted more by minorities, and thus, I know what it’s like to be judged by appearances rather than the content of your character and who you actually are.  I know what it’s like to be stereotyped and written off or mistreated for your mistakes.  I know what it’s like to be held to a different standard while your peers don’t have to meet that same standard.  So I always related to that.  And the way he came in and just electrified the whole franchise, man…  I still think about it often how much it sucks that because of how talented he was, our staff out so much on him and that ultimately cut his career short.  You’re right, there will never be another Cam…  I think Josh Allen is the closest thing we will see for a long time, but Allen is not the running threat Cam was.  Cam could run you over or around you.  That was THE absolute funnest time to watch our team ever.
    • It definitely needs more specificity than is baked in now.
    • The weirdest encounter I had with a pro athlete was waiting in line at security at Mile High Stadium when I used to get the company suite tickets almost every week because I was the only employee based in Colorado. There's a small checkpoint accessing the suites that virtually no one knows about that you can usually squirt right through. I was standing there and looked over my shoulder and there stands John fuging Elway waiting in line behind me.  This was during the The Golden Calf of Bristol season right before he became GM. I just said "They make YOU go through security?" He's like "Yeah, ain't that a bitch. I literally have a statue out front and I gotta go through security like everybody else." I've heard mixed things about him but he was super nice and down to earth with me that day.
