Watching Zach Wilson play reminds me EXACTLY of Corral

How tall is Rodgers? Lamar Jackson? Jalen Hurts?

I’ve heard the MVP is between Hurts and Mahomes. Someone better tell the league a random huddler has deemed them both too short….

Is Corral Rodgers? is he Lamar? is he hurts? All answers to those questions are HELL NO and by the way all of those QBS went in rounds 1-2 not 4-5

Jalen Hurts has almost 1k rushing yards this year and more multi rush TD games than Cam Newton this season... can corral do that? Like I said if you wanna talk about other 6'2 QBs talk about some that actually compare to our scurb

I haven't seen enough of our "scurb" yet to compare him to much of anybody.

He got almost no practice reps and then was thrown into games unprepared under the coaching of Matt Rhule before getting injured. Reality is we don't know sh-t about him yet.

And this height-based comparison is a really stupid argument.

You brought up other QBS that don't play like him now height based is a stupid argument lol we have seen enough of him no NFL QB worth a damn can't even COMPLETE A PASS in the PRESEASON VS THE 3RD STRING I HAVE SEEN ENOUGH!!! Matt was a wasted draft pick and he will never be a decent NFL QB in this league if you can't complete a pass you suck period i don't care what the situation is he looked like ass in training camp practices as well

You said he was “too short” to be a QB. You are completely wrong. You better backpedal quick because that was the easiest thing to prove wrong.

I respect you Mr Scott but your homerism is showing other than that I hope you have a Merry Christmas!

It's not homerism.

Corral could indeed be bad, or he could be good. We haven't seen enough of him to know.

Judging off of a tiny sample hasn't exactly been a good thing for Panther fans.

Wilson is a prime example that you can't fix what's between the ears. The guy has legit top tier physical talent but he doesn't have a QB's mind. You can't fix it.

I'm telling you guys, it's Jimmy Clausen face

If a quarterback's face looks like an average person's but squeezed from the top and bottom, run:

Odds are he will be bad simply based on draft position.  However 6'2 is plenty tall enough it's his frame that you should be concerned about.

We have little idea what we have yet. It’s way too early to write this kid off. He won 10 games at Ole Miss which is no easy feat in the SEC. Quick release yes and wasn’t asked to make a ton of progressions, OK. But how many times do Panther QB’s actually have time to make more than 2 reads? Im Not saying he is the answer but I hope he can be adequate Incase we need to use our assets for the other half a dozen holes on this roster.

    • Bryce has been in the NFL 3 years and still looks like a very mediocre QB. Most games are nothing but mediocre plays with a highlight reel every now and then.  He is a very INCONSISTENT QB and it’s very fustrating. He does not deserve a 5th year option, even though the Panthers and all the dumb asses in the front office will give it to him.
    • I’ve rarely ever been more sure of anything than losing out — but how can anyone say with a straight face “Bryce hasn’t improved, but Canales has and he’s masks his flaws”. You have to be so out of touch with reality to put one way above the other when discussing those two.
    • Last night was the classic example of a visiting team just holding on through the wave of emotion a home team has at the start of a big time game. Bama’s first two kickoff returns really set them back as far as playcalling and allowed OU to dictate field position. The emotion of the home crowd fed into what OU was doing at that point, and it felt like Bama would not be able to overcome that.     Once the kickoff returner was told to fair catch every kick, the game shifted, as Bama wasn’t starting each drive inside their own 15. It was then that Bama was able to make some plays, outscoring OU 34-7 the rest of the way.  I think the last 3/4 of the game proves Bama was the better team. OU was just able to ride the initial wave of emotion to a big lead, but Bama held on just enough.  However, had OU blocked the punt on Bama’s second drive and scored a TD (vice a FG on the ensuing drive), things likely would have been different.  Anyway, Roll Tide!
