I know the years that the panthers have had a good record and hosted playoff games, BOA has a great home atmosphere. 

 

Im wondering after this up and down season, if we host a playoff game do you think BOA will be packed with Panther fans? How was the attendance the playoff game the year we went 7-8-1?

 

Also, lets say we host the Cowboys...   is our stadium going to be over run by their fans? 

 

to those that can remember, what was the fan ratio when we hosted the cowboys in the playoffs in the past? 

 

Gotta take care of business first I know.

It really depends on how many PSL owners want profit over atmosphere.  Cowboys fans (especially those living locally) would probably spend their January mortgage payment to see "The Boys."  The lower the IQ and the less likely the fan to actually know where Dallas is on the map, the more "hardcore" they are.

I would be happy if there was no more than 40% Dallas fans in that scenario.  Given how the last few seasons have went, I would hope it's no more than 50/50.  It's absolutely disgusting, but as someone who has had PSL's for 17 seasons now, I am a realist.

Way, way too many PSL owners have gotten comfortable with making money about everything else, especially over the last 4 years of irrelevancy and the fact there are always transplants here willing to pay a premium to see their hometown and/or preferred team.

The capitalist in me understands this is their prerogative.  The fan in me hates this with every fiber of my being.  

Anyway, just my take, but I think the Cowboys (which is almost assuredly the matchup) would be worst case in terms of PSL owners selling out, literally and figuratively.

Regardless, I will be there if we can win the division, doing my best to represent.

I know for a fact that ticket scalpers have bought a good number of psls as an investment.  Those are always gonna go to the highest bidder.

In the 7-8-1 year, there were very few cardinals fans which I think was because they played an unknown 3rd string qb and Arizona doesn't travel here that great normally.

In the two Dallas playoff games, I don't recall there being a very high number of Cowboys fans but we had great teams those years and our bandwagon was more full.  I expect if we were to play them this year, their fans would be like cockroaches when you turn the lights on.

Yes and they play little game too like, you will get your money 7 days after the event 

so, if you sell a nibember game in September you don’t get paid until 7 days after the event. 
 

in 20 years, never missed games. Have a family situation in west coast so out here more 

too, most local fans don’t want to pay face value and this isn’t charity for home town discounts

I know some teams have made efforts in the past to boot ticket holders who constantly sell their tickets, but I don't know from a legal standpoint if there is any recourse with the PSL owner agreement.

And yeah, supply has definitely outpaced demand the last few years.  The Panthers are ranked high in attendance (meaning tickets sold), but there are plenty of open seats in the stadium.

Back to your original point about scalpers, yeah they are going to sell exclusively to the highest bidder, which will undoubtedly be idiot Cowboy fans if we host them on Wildcard weekend.

I feel like the vast majority of the lower bowl on the visitor side must be scalpers at this point, b/c even compared to 5 years ago there are consistently a lot of opposing fans on that side, which certainly validates that scalpers own most of those tickets at this point and just auction them off.

Opposing fans number wise is usually not as bad in playoff games

Anecdotally, I run into waaaaaaay too many cowboys fans here. There would be a tremendous amount of navy blue and silver bullshit in BOA. 
 

Maybe not Steelers bad…but maybe part of the Steelers is how offensively yellow they are. 
 

There would be roaring every time Dak makes a play.

Honestly, it's a good thing. It would be a good reminder to Tepper that despite making the playoffs due to playing in an all time terrible division, his Panthers are a long way from arriving and he has significant work to do to regain the faith of this fanbase.
