FootyHeadlines, a typically reliable source when it comes to kit leaks, has published that this

is what the badge and color scheme will look like for Charlotte’s 2023 away kit.
This additionally means that Charlotte will carry over its 2022 home kit into the 2023 season.

A couple of thoughts:

I think these kits are gonna be middle of the road, not great, but not offensive in any way. They have big shoes to fill replacing the beauty that was the black and mint kit.

Purple and teal would have made more sense, but there is plenty of time to have that color scheme. I will say though, if these specific colors were chosen with any input at all from Ally then that’s terrible. Sponsors should have exactly zero input on anything other than their logo on the kit.

I don’t hate the colors at all, just hate the fact that it’s Ally throwing their weight into it with their colors. It would be like Lowe’s or BofA being the kit sponsor and then demanding the away kit be some combo of blue/white/red

I actually wish that they would have kept the black and mint and made that the home kit and the purple and pink the away kit. I’d be perfectly fine with them retiring the blue and white kit but I imagine that those colors will be used in every home kit we ever use considering those colors are our crest colors.

I like the black and mint but am fine with blue and white considering our stadium is blue and it matches everything with soccer and the Panthers.  Don't like the purple and pink.

    • I have considered free agency.  LT?  Either not good enough or too expensive.  Besides, this is a good OT draft.  (I would rather have a free agent, mind you, but the Panthers' reality suggests we can't do it without neglecting other positions).  What LTs are available in free agency, and what do you expect to pay?  Any Ickey-level OT is going to cost over $20m.   How much do we already have invested in our OL?  I get your point, but I do not think you can spend over $100m per on your OL. We have 2 guards and a right T who pull in about $75m per season.  We don't have a center yet.  Teams just don't let good LTs hit free agency, and when one does on rare occasion, he is expensive.  If you want a third of the Panther cap going to 5 Offensive Linemen, free agency is the way to go.  We still need S, ILB, Edge, WR, etc. I think we'd need more than Nijman--and I would understand if we went free agent for a T--but that is putting a TON of your cap at OL--so considering our situation, I do not see that option as preferable.  You may disagree. If I was not talking LT on our line and thinking about the cap, I would agree 100%.
    • Will be interesting to see how they come out tonight. The Boston game seemed to open the flood gates of media attention. And it’s not just that they’re playing well, in some instances they are getting compared with all time greats. This is still a young team, and it would be easy for an immature team to lose some focus, buy into their own hype, and think they can coast bit. The Heat are a middle of the road team without their leading scorer. There is no big dragon to slay, no big statement to make. I think we’ll learn a lot tonight: are they young but mature, or do they still have a ways to go mentally?
    • Panthers North for the win. Good luck to him. Great guy, hated to see him leave here, but he's about to work with the best QB he's ever worked with (at least on a regular basis).
