Ground production, yes. Foreman is underrated. As a receiving threat, anyone who thinks a non-Moore Panthers pass catcher has 1/1000 of McCaffrey's skill set, well, they're Frank. I'm not sure anyone else could be that ignorant.

I've never denied his receiving ability I even advocated for him becoming a slot receiver to try and keep him less banged up. But that isn't worth 60 million dollars and giant salary cap hits that hinder our ability to build the rest of the offense. You are so mad about this. He isn't walking back through that door go cry into your pillow about it.

Keep projecting. You have a temper tantrum and throw out the race card whenever anyone says he deserves something. Sounds like you're the mad one. I don't care if he wins it or not.

You're quicker than anyone to criticize or lob attacks and insults, but every time -- every time -- someone asks you to break down your opinion, like, "What makes a good backup QB?" you magically disappear or resort to the same tired, pathetic little insults.

Deep down, you know you've got nothing of substance to offer, so these sad retorts -- some of them are even recycled from poster to poster -- are all you've got.

So toss out a few more of them in your next quoted reply, so it can make you feel better.

No he wasn't - Geno was never anywhere to come back to in the first place. Breakout player, sure, but he wasn't coming back from anything.

With that said I'm not sure I'd go CMC for this, but Geno doesn't fit the description.

What was CMC coming back from besides Matt Rhule?

You care so little that you steamrolled into this thread shouting my username when I had yet to even interact with you. Yet it's me throwing the tantrum and insults. You very obviously have not moved on. I used to feel the same way after the 2015 core slowly faded into obscurity. But time heals all guy. You'll be okay just take a breather. If replying to me with these love letters is your way of coping I'm here to help 👍

Oh, please. You camp out in every McCaffrey thread.

Actually I had yet to even see this thread until a gentleman not unlike yourself who says he enjoys staring at pictures of McCaffrey in his free time inquired regarding my whereabouts. Maybe you two should compare notes.

Not too many names off the top of my head that could qualify for comeback player of the year so wouldn't surprise me if CMC won it.

Still far too early to determine the trade. I've always seen it as a decision made for the long term, meaning that it's contingent on who we end up drafting with the additional picks and whether CMC stays healthy over the next few years.

Lol, he didn’t tag you. You had to read the thread to find it. Keep telling on yourself.

 Five wins?

CMC for whatever reason is the only player I continuously see whose metric for value is tied to team wins.  Unless you also think players like Burns and DJ Moore are ineffective because "five wins".

I agree that RB is a devalued position and I still stand by the decision to trade CMC, but that's a pretty awful argument.  Quarterback is the one position where I could maybe rationalize factoring in team record because it's the most impactful position by far.  If there's one position that can single-handedly win or lose a game for the team, it's quarterback.

    • Or its more likely coordinators got film on him and turned the screws
    • I'm too lazy to make my own format so I am stealing yours.  Week 1: Sept. 8 at New Orleans  (W) 17-6 Running game and Derek Carr having a horrible opener gets the win. Week 2: Sept 15 vs. Los Angeles Chargers (L) 24-10 Hype from Week 1 goes away when Harbaugh and Herbert show up. Week 3: Sept 22 at Las Vegas  (W) 16-13 Complete defensive struggle but Panthers win on last minute FG.  Week 4: Sept. 29 vs. Cincinnati  (L) 30-13 Score is actually worse but Panthers score in garbage time. Week 5: Oct. 6 at Chicago (L) 21-10 Horrible performance by Bryce in a winnable game and even his fans start to think he's not it, press conference questions get worse and calls for benching intensifies.  Week 6: Oct. 13 vs. Atlanta (L) 20-17 Running game becomes 70% of offense to help Bryce, it works but can't get job done at the end. Week 7: Oct. 20 at Washington  (W) 21-14 Running game/defensive comes through; Bryce does okay. Week 8: Oct. 27 at Denver (L) 27-7 Complete offensive collapse. Week 9: Nov. 3 vs. New Orleans (L) 30-24 Saints keep shooting themselves in the foot but we provide them a turnover-fest and they come back in the 2nd half.  Week 10: Nov. 10 vs. N.Y. Giants (Munich, Germany) (L) 24-6 Worse offensive performance of our season. Week 11: Nov. 17 BYE Week 12: Nov. 24 vs. Kansas City (L) 34-31 OT Dalton takes over for Bryce to try to salvage season. Plays close game; gives team a slight bump. Week 13: Dec. 1 vs. Tampa Bay (W) 28-27 Dalton has nice game. Canales beats his former team in a stunner.  Week 14: Dec 8 at Philadelphia (L) 27-14 Tough crowd, tough game, run out of gas in the 4th.  Week 15: Dec: 15 vs. Dallas (L) 31-24 This will be out "worse officiated game of the year." and we will all accuse the NFL of trying to get the Cowboys in the postseason. Week 16: Dec. 22 vs. Arizona (W) 26-10 Solid win by Dalton and co.  Week 17: Dec. 29 at Tampa Bay (W) 12-10 Canales sweeps his former team and knocks them out of the postseason in an absolute rain fest. Week 18: Jan. 4 or 5 at Atlanta (L) 28-20 Close game but Atlanta holds us off.    Panthers finish 6-11. Dalton's mediocre performance shows just how bad Young really was. Panthers start the search for the next QB.
    • Want to see something crazy?  Look in Bryce stats after Dallas game.  They parked Bryce and told him to play conservative. Bryce first 9 games: 9 TDs, 8 Int, ~1,600 total yards.   Bryce last 8 games: 2 TD, 2 Int, ~1,600 total yards.  With just 1 game over 200 yards passing.  If you remove that game… Bryce is 0 TDs, 2 Int, and 1,300 total yards in 7 games. Just disaster the way the handled him.  Dude regressed as the season went on.  He took zero chance.  Just stayed in the pocket and got pounded.
