Interesting he would pick the rangers over us, considering it’s a playoff rental. Unless we didn’t pursue him.

LeBrun stating that the Meier sweepstakes is coming to an end as teams are being informed that they are out of the running (i.e. Winnipeg being told Meier won’t re-sign there).

Ultimately I think it’ll come down to Carolina or New Jersey and I wouldn’t be shocked if this is over by Tuesday.

Not sure how I feel about giving up Ponomarev. I hope it’s just Morrow and Drury.

I’m not sure but I hope that gets it done. The more I think about it, Meier is exactly what we need in the playoffs. We are essentially adding another Svech to the lineup. I’m going to be disappointed if NJD wins the arms race.
