Said elsewhere that I know a lot of internet draftniks like using pro comparisons, but to me it's sort of lazy. Just evaluate their strengths and weaknesses rather than trying to make them the next whomever.

People compare Levis to Allen because they are white. Anthony Richardson is far closer to Josh Allen than anyone I've seen in quite a while.

Have you commented on the others who have made these comparisons, or did you just decide to wait and comment when Cam came up? There have been quite a few Levis/Josh Allen comparisons.

But no, that's not my first time. Hence why I said I don't like those kind of comparisons in general.

Cam Newton day 1 in the NFL was the dominant physical runner at the QB position in NFL history.  That's what made him special.   Cam Newton was a unicorn.

I wasn’t saying it in a negative way. We would all love to have another Cam. That also means some people will latch on to the perceived closest thing, even if they’re not at all close.
