Nah. Jarvis is a keep. Especially if in 2 years Aho decided to move on.

I don't see Detroit letting Larkin go, and I don't think Larkin wants to leave Motown.  Either way it would take a lot to get Larkin unless he cratered his trade value by saying he wouldn't be signing with the Red Wings due to negotiations going south.  He isn't that kind of guy.  Personally, I don't think you "give up the farm" for him.

I think the Canes may be the most serious about acquiring Toews.  He is a Rod type of center, plays a good two way game and needs to be on a team competing for something.  He isn't having a great year in Chicago, but who is?  I think the cost would be relatively "cheap," but probably hinges on the Blackhawks retaining some salary.  How much they retain will set the price for him.

I don't think Kane really wants to play here, but I could be wrong.

Both Toews and Kane are rentals. I don't want a 32 game rental that will cost the team a few years worth of prospects and draft pick(s).

Meter, Tarasenko, Larkin are all long term investments that almost guarantee future success. I'm mentioning these 3 as they seem to be market favorites right now. 

But look, I still think one of the 2 goalies may be in play. Both Andersen and Raanta are free agents after the season and Kochetkov is waiting in the wings with a recently signed multi-year contract.

      I get it, but it's just like "dropping dimes" doesn't have a definition either but is saying the same thing. They're like what the Supreme Court said about Porn, "you know it when you see it" And I think you have to be watching with some crazy ridiculous Bryce goggles to think he was "slinging dots downfield" as the OP said.  I'm not taking anything away from Bryce for making the necessary throw in those situations and got two TDs on two 4th down plays.   But they weren't "sligning dots downfield" and they weren't "dropping dimes", they were pretty basic throws for any NFL QB, not even starting QB, just any QB.  They were 15-20 yard touch throws for the WR to run under it, with no safety over the top of them or need to let them get down in bounds.  They were in essence practice throws with no DB covering them, just in a high pressure game situation. 100% perfect throws for what was needed, which in itself is a credit to Bryce as he's struggled with that on easy throws in the past.  And hell, this literally might have been his best game of his career all things considered. But "slinging dots downfield" is just an absurd statement to say after today, sorry.

      Idk, but I was just scrolling shorts and this video popped up calling the Tmac pass an “absolute dot” so, unless this is you, it seems like it might meet more people’s definition of “dot” than he thinks. Anybody crashing out over calling these passes “dots” really can’t be taken seriously on any Bryce Young related topic because he clearly affects their ability to think straight.
