Probably Brown.

I know Cooter worked for Jim Caldwell before. Makes me wonder if Caldwell is pushing for him behind the scenes.

Brown. Based on what I’ve read about him and his knowledge of McVay’s system, I think he would be a great fit for what we’re trying to do. JMO

I would be fine with either but I think the job is JBCs. He’s worked with Caldwell and Reich.

Reich did say he wouldn't just be hiring his buddies though.

I’d like to see Thomas Brown, TE/AHC- Rams; Become the OC for the Panthers but also be named as the TE coach (OC/TE)!

But I’d also like to see the Panthers (Reich) bring back Jeff Nixon as WR coach!

He did, I think both would just be a Reich proxy as far as playcalling goes. It could be either, I just lean towards JBC because of the connections. The way things are going this cycle it could be Jeff Davidson for all we know.

I think if the Panthers were sold on JBC, he’d be hired by now. The fact that he’s not tells me the search is still active. I’m not saying he ultimately won’t get the job, I just don’t think it’s clear cut.

It's going to be Brown. With his knowledge of Mcvay's system there's no reason to not want to bring him in and help add more to the playbook. This staff has a lot of SB potential, it just needs to be realized sooner than later.

With Brown coming in for a second interview and the Bucs hiring someone else after their meeting, I think it’s obvious he’s signing here tomorrow, which I prefer anyway
