Why does this guy keep flashing Heisman like that means anything?

Before and since Cam Newton wasn't winning the Heisman like the KOD anyway?

Johnny Football and Baker Mayfield both have them.

Bored Paul Rudd GIF

Not that you aren't right, but I think Burrow and Devonte Smith kind of broke the KOD curse on Heisman winners.

Yeah Heisman winning means nothing but underwear measurements are the gold standard. Make sense, hypocrite.

You're comparing a crucial part of the evaluation process for the position to an award many of footballs greatest QB's never even won? Alright then 🫡

Crucial part = what he did on the playing field or throwing to dudes with no one open? Or having them run in a straight line? Kinda confused.

Cam Newton and Joe Burrow are two of the most recent to have substantial success in the last decade plus.

I think if anything it's a take it or leave it item in the overall consideration process. It doesn't boost or pull down a prospect to have or not have one.

Comparing QB's to wide receivers now? Someone is flustered.

Ah yes because QB pro days are the deciding factor in final decisions. If I remember correctly , Willis killed his pro day. Now they’re looking to replace him after 4 games with an even rawer prospect.

Oh I wasn't aware Malik's career was already over at 23 years old.

The standards around here sure have changed from when you folks were calling 24 year old Sam Darnold basically a rookie 🥴

Oh, well maybe now you’re aware? Because I mean Willis was “supposed to go round one after his awesome pro day “ yeah that didn’t happen. When he got on the field, it looked even worse. I’d say the hype coming from TEN about wanting ar15 (who is a rawer, higher upside Willis) tells me his career is pretty much never going to blossom. Just like Corral here. Is it fair? Probably not. But the fact and point of the matter is, the measurement stuff doesn’t matter to me. Everyone looks great when the pressure isn’t there.

    • I'm not sure that in a fair QB competition that Young would beat out Jones.
    • That's why I said stats aside. I lived in CO during Allen's college career and didn't have kids at the time so I watched most of his games. Bruh, I'm telling you. Balls just spraying all over the place. The type of throws where you're honestly trying to figure out who he was even trying to throw that one too. It was crazy. Richardson was inaccurate in college but at least you could tell who he was trying to throw it too. He threw a lot of early in the game Cam Newton type balls where it seemed like he was just a little too amped up and everything was a few feet high. Richardson's misses looked like they were maybe fixable with working on his footwork, release, etc. Josh Allen's misses looked like "ain't no way you're fixin' that poo, dude has a cannon equipped with no sights". LOL Huge props to the Bills for evaluating him as fixable and indeed fixing him.
    • A lot can change over the next week, but here is my best 53-man roster (note: I'm just basing this on guys on the 90 man roster currently). Obviously there could be trades/ waiver claims/ FA signings.   Offense (25) QB (2): Bryce Young, Andy Dalton RB (3): Chuba Hubbard, Rico Dowdle, Trevor Etienne TE (4): Tommy Tremble, JT Sanders, Mitchell Evans, James Mitchell WR (7): Tetoria McMillan, Xavier Legette, Adam Theilen, Jalen Coker, Hunter Renfrow, Jimmy Horn, Brycen Tremayne  OL (9): Ikem Ekwonu, Damien Lewis, Austin Corbett, Robert Hunt, Taylor Moton, Cade Mays, Chandler Zavala, Brady Christensen, Yosh Nijman    Defense (25) DL (6): Derrick Brown, Bobby Brown, Ashawn Robinson, Tershawn Wharton, Sam Roberts, Cam Jackson OLB (5): DJ Wonnum, Pat Jones, Nic Scourton, Princely Umanmielen, Thomas Incoom  ILB (5): Trevin Wallace, Christian Rozeboom, Krys Barnes, Jon Rattigen, Claudin Cherelus S (4): Trevon Moehrig, Demani Richardson, Lathan Ransom, Nick Scott  CB (5): Jaycee Horn, Mike Jackson, Chau Smith-Wade, Corey Thornton, Shemar Bartholomew    ST (3): LS: JJ Jansen  P: Sam Martin  K: Matthew Wright    Would like to hear everyone's thoughts
