I love the enthusiasm, I would love to draft AR, it’s just looking like it’s going to be BY. Nothing wrong with that, both will be good.

The problem for arguing AR at 1 is he needs time to develop and this is a win now league. All 4 of these QBs have some kind of issue. Since that's the case, I'd rather go highest ceiling, but I get why we won't.

That’s a solid point, but I really think he could come in day one and be ok. Maybe I’m wrong, but it doesn’t matter, it seems like it’s Young.

Yeah I think people get carried away with the idea of sitting out a season. Maybe if you're a win now team but they aren't in a position to draft a QB early anyway. If you aren't winning already what is there to lose? Richardson needs game experience more than anything.

I don't know that he needs game experience as much as he needs time to adjust to the complexities of an NFL offense and the speed of the players. He's never played with this level of talent. Depending on how fast he picks it up, maybe insert him by game 8 to 10. If he ends up having a successful 12-15 year career, will anyone care he sat out most of his rookie year?

I wanted Richardson. When we were at number 9 i was happy because i thought he would be there at our pick. I watch football more for the entertainment than just wins and losses. When we had Cam, it was thrilling when he would drag the pile for a first down like in the Atlanta game. Yeah, I know he could miss a short pass or knock a head off with a laser without  enough touch but whenever he took a snap I knew we had a chance at something incredible happening. For me, AR would have provided that type of anticipation.

After all is said and done and we have our new number one pick, I will support and cheer for him with all my heart. I am very old and I am running out of time to see my team hoist the trophy. So I pray the front office makes the correct pick and it kicks off a dynasty. Keep Pounding! I am believing good things are coming.

If Florida QB, Anthony Richardson can be coached up to the fullest extend of his great physical abilities and  become a more accurate passer, you could very well be correct.

I just seen a tweet earlier from Mike Kaye that has me confused. He mentioned how Frank will be using the RPO offense and to make of that, what you will. I had accepted that Young is the gut but he doesn't fit the RPO. Then you look at the whole Richardson in a trade down to 2 scenario. I'm wondering if they are really thinking of AR all alone and trying to ride it out until it's definite not trade can be made.  Ready for this to be over!!

It could happen, but RPO doesn’t necessarily mean read option. If I’m not mistake Kirk Cousins did some RPO in Minnesota over the years. It  just means the play called has a couple possibilities based off of what the qb sees from the defense. The run part, could just be a simple hand off, sure there could be read option but it’s not exclusive to RPO. Would a player like AR thrive in a RPO, you bet! But so could BY. 
 

In terms of thinking it’s AR all along, it’s possible, but right now, unlikely. Looking at all the tinfoil hat items: TD saying we were taking AR, our two day visit with AR (other visits were only one day), Texans supposedly canceling (not confirmed if they canceled or just didn’t schedule one) their visit with AR, Tony Pauline saying Reich wants AR and if I’m not mistaken, Fitt said ultimately, the decision is Reich’s, the trade up happened after the combine where AR blew up and young didn’t participate etc., there could be more but I can’t remember them all. I’m not saying this is going to happen or I believe it, but there are some interesting theories. 
 

All the insiders are reporting young, everything is pointing to young, so it’s going to be young.

Yes, you have some very valid points!! I think it'll be Young too but Fitt is definitely  playing this close to the vest!!!
