But Bryce Young did good on a test...right??

I wonder why Haener isn't getting more hype?  He is only 1 point behind him tied with Burrow.

I mean.  The test isn’t 100 pct factor.  Just a piece of the pie.

But Haener is getting some rd 3 buzz.

The Bryce haters and size cowards say they cant wait to see the board when we end up picking Stroud. If its anything like we've got the last few days with the reaction to Bryce being the favorite, I dont blame them its going to be entertaining as hell.

Different test. Fields scored high in the AIQ test, not the S2.

He is listed on the S2 with Brees, Mahomes, Allen, and Burrow as mid 90s.  It's funny how people think he has issues processing yet this test is showing the opposite.  Levis is right there at 93 so maybe we shouldn't be so against him as well...

Yeah I was reading his weaknesses...

Overall, if Haener were bigger and stronger we would be talking about a sure-fire top-10 pick, but unfortunately, he is not. With his lack of high-end traits, it’s hard to see Haener ever being a top starter at the next level, but with his natural ability as a passer and the competitive toughness he displays, I would not be shocked to see him develop into a low-level starter who you can win with if you surround him with a good team. I would not bet against this player

*He is 6'0" 207 BTW

The S2 scores are not the selling point for Bryce Young over CJ….the tape is. It’s as simple as that. I’m happy with either one but I’ll trust our great coaching staff with an extreme amount of NFL experience both playing and coaching over the huddle or TC collins on twitter

Exactly.  People are overhyping this S2 test.  You can't brag about Young acing it and ignore Fields/Levis doing well but having processing issues.  Tape is the king when looking at these players.  Young has elite tape.

The Stroud Boys are going to whine an complain all the way to the draft.

The S2 is not the deciding factor.  The tape is.  Stroud has a 40% completion rate under pressure and is mostly a statue in the pocket.

Stop spitting nonsense..

    • I just dont get the worry over losing a practice squad player that just went undrafted. Everyone just made their selections. The chances of a team wanting to sign him to an active roster after not selecting him is very low.  If that interested they would have taken him late to evaluate in person. As far as I can tell two qbs were signed off another teams practice squad last season and they were both going in to their 5th season.
    • I enjoyed reading this thread and the usual banter that follows. The only silver lining I can identify right now is we do actually have a couple of young QB's behind him and we do have a nice roster on both sides of the ball built around the most important position. So if the team overall shows some promise but we still falter largely due to a lack of consistent passing output (again) hopefully the decision makers can be free to make the best decision for the team going forward after the conclusion of this upcoming season.
    • I don't really follow the team anymore due to a variety of reasons and consequently have largely stopped posting but I agree that this is a lovely website and community. This forum probably kept me around for years longer than I would've stuck otherwise because of how difficult it was to stop checking multiple times a day. Especially appreciate how lax the moderation tends to be compared to a lot of places, the crew here does a great job. Out of curiousity I decided to try making a new account (solely for testing purposes) to see what exactly is wrong with the sign up process. The issue seems to be that it never sends you an account verification email, thus making it impossible to complete registration. This is likely something to do with the email server upstream, hope it gets fixed. Also, lol
