That would be justice if we had fighters like Svech.  Even better I believe would be to win both games and the series right there in front of their crying fans.

I love playoff hockey- there is no other professional sport that comes close to the excitement of the NHL post-season. It's a different brand of game and the refs allow for a lot more than the regular season. That being said, there is absolutely no place for some of the incidents that took place last night.

The high stick on Aho was one thing- it was a legit hockey play and a penalty was called. However, coincidental with that hit was the head shot that went uncalled.

The Martin hit on Staal from behind, then holding him down on the ice should have been a game misconduct and, at the very least, deserves a 1-game suspension.

The Pageau slash that broke TT's hand was an obvious penalty and there was clearly no attempt to make a play on the puck. It was a deliberate chop on the hands that should also get the league's attention.

We'll see.

It’s pretty clear from this that islanders made that self inflicted to try and get a penalty. 
 

Also, I fully expect the refs to call every little thing they can on us Friday.

I want to see a longer clip of the turbo injury. Because he’s definitely skating to finish the play. I’m guessing when he went to take his glove off is when the pain started.
