From the S2 scores I saw, if i remember correctly, Will Levis had a good score, it was C.J. Stroud that was reported to had the super low score.

That's what I'm saying. Levis' good S2 score and Strouds bad score obviously didn't have that much of an effect in the scouting.

The "Will Levis" that attended the S2 test was really Shane Steichen in a scooby-doo style skin suit.

My bad. I see what you mean and agree that the S2 did not seem to matter.

Levis got too much bro swag to him.  Think his personality works against him.

Hmmm!!! The fact Will Levis will not stay to hear his name called on the second night does not speak to highly of him.

Reinforces the perception of being entitled and egotistical

ESPN reported Thursday night there were concerns over the health of his toe. That has played somewhat of a factor. But teams have been concerned about his drop in production last season (explained away by a poor supporting cast and new offensive coordinator) and his personality. One quarterbacks coach described him as "jittery." Two GMs pointed to how anxious he gets in the pocket. Another said there was a disconnect in the interview.

With all the negativity about him and hate he is getting from people, im going to laugh if he goes out and carves a successful career in the NFL. He has the physical tools and we can critique him after the fact all we want but time will prove whether right or not and I really do not wish for anyone to be a failure so I hope it all turns out okay for him. If he has any attitude, I hope he works on it and fixes it. God known I had an attitude at 23 or 24 years old but I guess none of the other talking head critics did I assume.......

    • I mean you're seemingly egging on someone that's about to get the first OTA thread of the year sent to the tinderbox because he's so personally upset someone said something about Bryce Young he doesn't like. At the end of the day it's on Bryce to quiet the doubts. He's got 38 million reasons to do so. I'm glad we are in general agreement about the outlook for the upcoming season. As far as my position on Bryce. I was pretty plain about my preference being CJ Stroud predraft. There were several posters here at that time who made it their mission to attack and spam poo emojis on anything perceived to be critical of Bryce Young. I was on board and in support once he was the pick. I said all along I was going to give him the season to show performance worthy of where he was selected. To say the absolute least that did not happen unfortunately. I think you are misrepresenting and assigning your own interpretation to the "optimism" about Bryce Young that you claim I take exception to. Optimism is one thing. Fantasy is another. And fantasy is what some of the talk has amounted to. In this very thread the first day of OTA he's been compared to Christian McCaffrey for whatever reason. That's not optimism that's homerism and again we've been doing this for different QB's the last several years. What's the definition of insanity? At some point you just need to see real quantifiable results first. We're all waiting. Hopefully it happens.
    • Nah the much higher bust percentage for all players suits your narrative too a tee
    • Cmon dude... you've been a moderator for years... You really don't remember the discourse around here in 2017??  CMC was hated by many, many people.  Especially after the season Kamara had.   Anyone who doesn't seem massive parallels between that CMC/Kamara debate vs. the BY/CJS debate is lying or misremembering IMHO. And to your 2nd point, Bryce doesn't deserve another season?  So, the book wasn't written on CMC after 1 season, but it is on Bryce? My avatar is of Cam and will always be.  No one will ever take his place for me, but it's insane the number of people activity rooting against this team (and then talking trash to those of us supporting them). Man, I'll take my next month hiatus from this place, but I'm simply astonished at the revisionist history. I miss being able to have even remotely objective discussions on this board.  People getting dragged by trolls every single time they try to post anything is exhausting... BTW @CRA, appreciate the warning.  I'll see myself out, just like SCP and all the other posters worth a crap who got tired of this cesspool always favoring the poo-slingers... This board allows clowns to troll all day long anyone trying to have reasonable discourse with zero repercussion, but if you push back against this depressing and inane s-show and all the nonsense takes, then it's no good...
