Went 12-4 that year and made the playoffs while we went 5-11

yeah it’s nice to have a franchise QB, we’re talking about draft classes.

You made the point that they’ve been a great drafting team over the past three years. Which players from those three years are you really high on?

I judge a draft class based on season results and they’re results have been consistently in the playoffs

This fan base is freaking miserable

I have been on the fire Fitt train since 2021. I though and still think we should have fired him with Rhule.
So no I am not miserable. I just think he isn’t a good GM and these last 2 pick further show proof that he isn’t.

Yeah why draft a legit SEC WR to go with our franchise QB? 🙄

okay then we’ve found your issue, your method of evaluation is bad.

a great coach and great QB play, especially if you’re supplementing with outside talent, is going to win you a lot of games, but you still need to draft well at least occasionally, that has a little tiny measure of importance for peak and sustained success.

you’re talking to someone who has a far more reasonable measure of what constitutes a successful draft class than most of this board who expects too much-even then the Seahawks haven’t done a good job of clearing the pole.

When the consensus on here, the consensus of the draft people pretty much say it was a bad trade and pick coupled with Kayes tweet I am pretty goddamn confident that this was a mistake

Did someone travel to the future and report back that this was a mistake? Nobody knows if it was or not. Its all opinions. So what if it is? It's one draft pick. We suffered  through  the Rhule era. I think it's going to be ok.

Well I’m glad you to hear you’ve got all the answers. Let me know when you become an NFL GM.

Until then your opinion is no more valuable than mine.

    • Damn Logan Jones had a good day too. Was high on him coming in as he anchored that top Iowa line and is a fire plug inside. He's gonna be 25 to start the season so maybe he slips into the 4th but I doubt it, even if C isn't a premium position. His play on the field was top notch and the combine boosted it again. Arm length is about the only knock. But guy is plug and play at C.   This is a loaded class at C. Need to grab one.
    • Bryce will be permanently replaced by a draft pick. There's not another Sam Darnold out there to save us. Tepper is going to see this throw because he dumped Mayfield and Darnold too soon. He's going to give it 1 more year before he will sign off on dumping another 1st round pick qb. Thats the cold hard truth of it. It doesn't mean we can't get younger and much better at the backup position.
    • Maybe I should have used a different word and saved that for me. I want someone that has something impressive about them.  Someone that has potential to supplant a guy who is producing 25th best type of numbers. 22nd, 27th all that bottom third neighborhood.  I don’t know where that will come from it just can’t be from even a 4th round pick this year IMO. Unless FA is crazy productive.    I’ll give Bryce a better than bottom rating for his playoff game. Well above low twenties. But at least half of his games were bottom third level. Probably 2/3 to 3/4 of them were.
