With what.. Just sign a vet edge..

Don’t lose anymore assets..

This is the overlooked aspect.  Teams left a lot of solid EDGE FAs available with how deep this draft is.

Don't need to force anything but if we wanna use a future 5th/6th to move up a tad, that ain't no thang but a chicken wing.

At this point if they think they can grab a starter somewhere they should definitely trade up.

This isn't the year to sit pat and develop back roster players. Our first round pick is gone next year, we need to try and push for as many wins as possible.

Trade up for who?

Washington seems like someone worth trading up for. We could use him in the run game as a blocker and redzone target.

I was just coming here to say that if he keeps falling we need to get back in here to get him.

I was good with him being the pick at 39, love getting Mingo, but if we could get both, yes please!

Yea, at 39 I was hoping for Mingo or Washington. Flood our #1 QB with weapons like we should have done for Cam.  Would love to trade Chinn straight up and take Washington or trade up from 93. No trading next year’s second though, it’s our first pick of the draft.

Yea I expect them to. Might even trade Chinn straight up for a third or late second if a willing trade partner is found when someone we like is available

GTFO with that, we’re not trading Chinn at all, let alone for a freaking third or even late second.

Not sure what position you would find a player at this point who would be a starter.

Washington might not be the starter over Hurst, but he’d be an impact player, particularly as a blocking TE, something that would pair nicely with our small QB

Dunno why not, I like him a lot but he doesn’t have an obvious position in the new defense and we’re loaded at S. He’s not going to worth more than that, he hasn’t been lighting the league on fire since after his rookie season, even if we know he could be doing much better in a better scheme he hasn’t proven it yet.

    • I usually don’t get attached in that way to player issues. I mostly observe. Not gonna go into Cam and Jake because this is going to be long enough already.  I just was so against taking him because I looked at him pre draft - since it was made into such a major crossroads for the team with that trade. I could see right away it was a horrible mistake once Inlooked at his video. And couldn’t believe that pro people overlooked that stuff. Just unbelievable. Still is.  But even pre draft, and certainly post draft and camp… every time I said “hmm, have you guys seen this with his arm, with his footwork, the tippy toe drop back with the square to the line stuff, it all adds time to the play and how is that gonna work against actual NFL defenders? The margins are already so slim even for people with great arms etc etc” I was met with torrents of scorn and ‘processor” and ‘SEC is the NFL’ and everything else they were fed. People wouldn’t open their eyes they just were always telling me to find another team blah blah, idiot, all kinds of hateful poo. While I am being called the hater lol.  That made it bigger than him for me. Way bigger. But, I and all the naysayers have already been proven right. He was not worth the trade or his draft position. That is in the books. Now it is new goalposts. Can he even be salvaged? Was it worth building this offense around him just to save face over the investment? Is he worth the 5th year? The 4th year even? That is what is in doubt now.
    • Why did Rod healthy scratch Nikishin??
    • Could have been worse than a 1 goal deficit
