Yeah, that guy looked so good filling in for Trevor Lawrence then he looked so bad as a full time starter. Maybe he needed a change of scenery. I don't know.

He is from California, maybe going back to the west coast will help him, all I know is he needs to be much better as a passer than he has been.

Caleb put up a cool 66 points and nobody mentioned it because it's just another day.

That kid might be better than Mahomes and im dead serious. Mahomes wasn't making these throws in college. That came later on in the NFL. Caleb is making Mahomes throws right now!

He's gonna have to speed up his processing significantly in the NFL. He holds the ball forever.  His average time to throw last year would've been the slowest in the NFL. That will struggle to translate, especially on a bad team.

Riley's offenses have put up 60-70 burgers for years no matter the QB.

Ok Caleb is great and should be the top pick no questions asked, but better than Mahomes? Mahomes was playing at Texas Tech with Kliff Kingsbury which is waaaaaay different than USC and Lincoln Riley. Mahomes is also a much better NFL QB than he ever was in college. He was a system QB with a live arm in college, but I’ll definitely have to wait and see until I deem anyone better than Mahomes. You gotta respect the top player in the NFL.

Anyone to watch out for in the LSU FSU game? I imagine it'll be lots of scoring and entertaining but I don't really care about who wins

I love a good shoot out when I don’t care who wins. Just get to sit back and enjoy some good offenses do their thing.

    • Am I the only one who doesn't understand this fan bases infatuation with adding a high end TE? Especially when we have some bigger bodies in T-Mac and Coker who can slide into the slot at times and provide the big dependable target over the middle that most teams use their TE for. I mean, sure, it would be nice to have one of those elite TE's, but I feel like that's a position your better off going cheap with a committee who each bring something different to the table while spending our cap room on the more important positions. I like the potential we saw from Evans this year, Sanders could be a best if he can stay healthy, and Tremble has improved as well.  Just feels like spending high draft picks or cap space on other needs and more important positions is a better use of our resources than splashing on a TE in the draft or FA. Are those guys on the level of the Bowers or McBride's of the world?  Of course not, but we also are paying a fraction of the cost on our TE room than they are, and we're able to use that money for other needs.
    • I’m happy most of us are on the same page about this team finally taking the fs position seriously. I’d be happy with a draft like this. I think we’re in a prime position to transform this defense to elite with a good draft like this.    I’d also be happy if we went all offense too, which SHOULD increase the offense productivity from last year but we have some questions on that side of the ball regardless.    I think the best defense wins the division easily and we’ve seen time and time again, how far an elite defense can take you.
